The First Relapse (Cara/Courtney/Randy)

Cara lied in her bed, her legs unable to move, her speech incredibly slurred when she tried to speak. Her body had almost completely shut down around her. She wimpered when she tried to move, but nothing happened. Another relapse.

Courtney put her and Randy's new son Max down in his bassinet after she fed him then went downstairs to cook breakfast. Twenty minutes later she finished then went to go get Cara. She walked to the bedroom then opened the door.

"Cara?" Courtney asked.

Cara turned weakly to face Courtney.

Courtney looked at Cara with a worried look in her eyes.

"Are you okay?" Courtney asked.

"C-Can't move," Cara said.

"You can't move anything at all?" Courtney asked.

"N-N-No," Cara said.

"Alright hold on I'll be right back." Courtney said before she ran out.

"Randy!" Courtney yelled.

Cara whimpered.

"What's wrong?" Randy asked, coming inside the room.

"She's having a relapse we need to take her to the hospital." Courtney said.

"Ja-Jacob?" Cara asked.

"Okay, let's get ready to go." Randy said.

"I'll get Jacob." Courtney said as she walked out of the room to Jacob's room while she called Randy's mom to come over to watch the other kids.

Cara tried to sit up to no avail.

"Want me to pick you up?" Randy asked.

Cara nodded.

Randy picked up Cara before walking out of the room.

Courtney picked up Jacob then grabbed the keys and went outside.

Cara whimpered, her legs lying limp.

Randy walked outside and laid Cara down in the backseat of the Hummer.

"I'm.........sc-sc-scared," Cara whimpered.

Courtney put Jacob in his car seat and looked at Cara.

"Everything's going to be okay." Courtney said.

Courtney weakly smiled.

"Yeah, you'll be fine." Randy said, getting into the car and starting it.
