Riley cried on his shoulder


"Why? Because I told her the truth." John says

Evan continues to hold her.

"Well if it makes you feel better that you hurt your best friend, think what you must." Elle says.

"Why does this hurt so bad?" She asked


"What about Matt... He was the one who started the whole mess to begin with."

"Cause you just got in a fight with one of your best friends and your brother." Evan replies.

"I'll handle Matt later, but right now I'm concerned with you and you being a complete asshole for no reason." Elle says.

"I just want it to stop. Twin you kill him." She says


"What I defend her and I get my ass kicked for it." He says

"It'll be over soon." Evan says.

"Then Elle will kill me, but I'll hurt him for you." Randy says.

"You went about protecting her the wrong way." Elle says.

Riley nodded "I think the kids are hungry." She says trying to take her mind off of it


"How was I suppose to when Matt was acting like a complete jackass when she said what she said about him?"

"Need some help?" Evan asks.

"What was I supposed to do? Break up with someone I care about because Riley doesn't like her? Riley made her choice and she has to live with it." Matt says.

"Both of you stop it! You both are wrong." Elle says.

"Yeah." She says


"Riley never said you had to break up with her Matt. She said that she felt like she was losing her brother. You could have got off your ass and went in there and talked to her."

Evan nods his head, getting up.

"And you think you saying what you did about her not being able to handle herself against Jeff, made her feel even worse?" Matt says. "You could've gotten off your ass and apologized."

Riley walked downstairs hearing Matt and John aruging outside she looks over at Evan and Randy



"Everything was fine between me and her before you two got into it and you had to be the biggest jackass and not even try to talk to her."

"Want me to shut them up?" Randy asks.

"Riley started all of this between her and I, I wasn't being a jackass." Matt says.

Riley nodded

"Matt she is your sister. Hell all the siblings have to be jealous when they are feeling like they are being replaced. I know my brothers sure as hell did because of how close we are. She never said that you couldnt see Matthew she just doesnt want Ashley around him." He says

Randy walks towards the door and heads outside.

"And I get that, but she's not being replaced. Ashley is going to be a big part of my life and is going to be around a lot, I can't keep the girl I'm in love with away from my nephew who I care a lot about as well." Matt says.

"Dude you bearly get anything. Riley puts up with alot of crap from all of us, but she asks you for one thing and you have to show your ass. You cant take time away just to see your nephew without your girl. At least when she told me to stay away I did." He says

"I've always been there for Riley, I ask her to make one little exception and she can't do it." Matt says.

"And you wonder why? Ashley and Courtney are always talking about her Matt."

"But they won't say anything about her in front of Matthew. They like him and no better than that. Hell, you talk a bunch of shit about Courtney and she still like having Anthony around." Matt says.

"That is because she is trying to prove a point to Randy." John says

"What point it that John?" Matt asks.

"That Kayla can date Anthony if she wants to."

"Even if Kayla didn't like Anthony, Courtney wouldn't keep Anthony away from her because they're friends. You and I both know that, and the same goes for Matthew, Kayla likes hanging out with him too." Matt says.

"Yeah when Riley is around them enough. She doesnt go anywhere near them."

"Riley's problems with them shouldn't effect me and my girlfriend seeing my nephew, especially if she likes him a lot." Matt says.

"Matt it effects her alot. The girl was calling her names okay. I dont blame her one bit for anything, but you should at least try to talk to her instead of being a world class asshole."
