Trying To Hang On (Anyone)

"I get what you mean. How does Matt feel about all this?" Elle says.

"He's not talking to her and I can see why. I haven't done a damn thing to Riley until I decided to stand up and speak the truth but of course it went in one ear and out the other. I swear I don't see how anyone can be friends with her, she can never let herself look like she's the bad person even if she's wrong." Ashley said.

"I feel like everyone around me has a problem with her or she hates everyone that I like, this is getting ridiculous." Elle says.

"Well if she would stop being a bitch when we speak the truth the problem would be resolved. Also if she wasn't so clingy with everyone else's boyfriends and not hers then there wouldn't be a problem. When Matt and I were over at her house she was like Matt I need you around more then you think. He barely has time to be around anyone because he's on the road so much and she says that garbage. What about his friends and me? We need him around too. He can't just ignore us because she has a problem." Ashley said.

"That is her brother though, but she does need to give him some time to have his own life and deal with his own problems." Elle says.

"I understand that but she doesn't just go to him she brings other people into one little problem. It's hard to not get mad over that. Not everybody needs to be sucked into her drama. Matt and I need some time alone because we're dating, Randy and Courtney have a daughter and could be getting married soon, and you and John are married and have a son. She has a boyfriend she needs to go to him." Ashley said.

Elle nods her head.

"I know, just don't know what to do anymore." She says.

"There's nothing really you can do. You can't stop her from being a bitch to everyone who happens to be telling the truth." Ashley said.

"Guess not." Elle says.

Ashley nodded.

"And it doesn't help that your husband defends her every freaking time. Sure they are family but Matt's her brother and he doesn't kiss her ass and make her look like she's innocent all the time when she's not." Ashley said.

"That's just how John is." Elle says.

"Well it's really stupid. What if you and Riley were fighting, I wonder which side he would pick." Ashley said.

"Mine, I'm his wife." Elle says.

"Are you sure about that?" Ashley asked.

"I'd hope so." Elle says. "He is married to me."

"Maybe you sound find out. Pick a fake fight with Riley but don't tell Cena about it or her because she would tell him. See who he sides with." Ashley said.

"That sounds like it's going to go terribly wrong."

"Why? If Cena sides with you it will be fine." Ashley said.

"And if he doesn't, I'll have to kill him." Elle says.

"And if he doesn't you have every right to kill him." Courtney said.

Elle groans.

"I don't think I'm ready to go through all that drama that would happen if he did choose her." Elle says.

"Probably not but you really should find out though." Ashley said.

"If it happens, then I'll know." Elle says.

Ashley nodded.

"Let me know about what happens. If he's an ass and sides with her you can stay at my house and I'll call Court and the three of us can talk." Ashley said.

"If that happens, I don't know what I would do." She says.
