Visiting Families (Evan/Riley)

"I missed you too." Matt says.

"What do you have in mind?" Evan asks, grabbing a cup from the cabinet and pouring the coffee in it.

Riley nodded


"Well I dont know how, but it has do something with Riley being upset about something or another and Matt does what he does best and protects his sister." Gilbert says "It always worked when they were little."

Matt nods his head, picking up Matthew.

"I'm sure they'll go back to the way they were soon." Evan says.

"So how is the love life?"


"I hope so."

"Good. Things between are going well. How's yours?" Matt says.

"It will, those two care about each other a lot." Evan says.

"Good. Considering me being pregnant and all." Riley says


"I know... When they were kids Matt always let her follow him around... It was so cute she was like his little shadow." Gilbert says smiling

Matt nods his head.

"That's good." He says.

"Aw, that is cute." Evan says with a smile.

"Your having a niece by the way." Riley says

"Would you like to see a picture?" He asked

"I am? That's great." Matt says.

"Sure." Evan says, walking over to Gilbert.

"Yeah you are.. Do you want to feel her kick?" She asked


Gilbert pulled out the picture and handed it to Evan

"Sure." Matt says.

Evan looks at the picture and smiles.

"They were cute as kids." He says.

Riley walks over to him


"That they were...Riley may not be my biologicol daughter she sure does look like us." He says

Matt smiles at her.

"You would never know until they told you." Evan says.

Riley smiles at him


"True." Gilbert says

Matt puts his hand on her stomach.

Evan nods his head.

The baby starts kicking

"So how did you meet Riley?" He asked

Matt smiles, feeling the baby kick.

"I ran into her at a coffee shop one day, we talked for a bit and then we saw each other again at the movies and we realized that we liked each other a lot." Evan replies.

"Matt I'm sorry for acting selfish." She says

"How did you feel about her getting pregnant so fast?" He asked

"I'm sorry for walking out on you." Matt says.

"It's what she wanted, so I'm happy." Evan says.

"Matt I do need you." She says "Your big brother."

Gilbert nodded "So you kids know what your having yet?"

"I know." Matt says.

"A girl." Evan says.

"To tell you truth I have been kind of lonely without you. Remember when we were kids you use let me follow you around everywhere?"


Gilbert smiled

"Yeah, I do." Matt says, smiling at the memory

"Excited to have a granddaughter?" He asks.

"Why did you do that?" She asked


"Yes I am." Gilbert says as the door bell rings

"Say what?" Matt asks.

"Must be my parents." Evans says, walking towards the door.
