Road Trip!!! (John/Elle)

John parked outside of Randy and Courtney's house waiting for Elle. Their concuiler thought that it would be a good idea for just the two of them to get away from everything. John picked up his phone and texted her.

I'm outside.

Elle kissed the twins goodbye and gave Anthony a hug before she walked of the house. Dragging her huge suitcase behind her, Elle closed and locked the door before she went over to the car.

John got out and opened the trunk for her

Elle put the bag in the trunk before she got into the passengers side.

John got into the drivers side and drove off

"Is there a reason why we're driving and not flying?" Elle asked.

"I dont feel like flying." He says

"Why? It's faster." Elle said.

"Because our concouiler thought that it would be better for us if we drove." He says

"I don't remember her saying that." She said. "She just said we needed to spend some time together."

"Well I took it as we needed to drive." John says

"I don't know how you got that out of her statement." Elle said.

"Because Elle if we were on a plane we wouldnt talk to each other. I thought that maybe if we drove we could at least try to talk." John says

"Okay..what do we talk about?" Elle asked.

"I guess anything." John says

"Well this was your idea." She said.

"My idea so you get to start." He says

"I don't have anything to say." Elle said.

"How are the kids?" HE asked

"They're good, the twins miss you around though." She said.

"I miss them too." He says

Elle nodded her head.

"How are things with you?" He asked turning off the intersection

"Good, I'm going to go back to work soon." Elle replied.

"That's great!" John says
