"I'll talk to Courtney." John said.

Elle laughed.

"Like that'll work. She hates you with every fiber in her body." She said.

"Well I have to try something." John said.

"You don't have to do all of that just to get me a new house." Elle said.

"I want to." John said.

"Why?" Elle asked.

"I want to make you happy." John said.

"You still don't need to buy another house though." Elle said.

"Well I'm going to." John said.

Elle sighed.

"That house is..or was, so perfect. Nothing can top it." She said.

"I'm sure something can." John said.

"I doubt it. Our house is right on the beach and the view is amazing." Elle said. "That house was everything that I ever wanted and more."

"I'll get another one built just like it." John said.

"That's like impossible." Elle said.

"It is not. I knock the one we have now down and I get people to redo it." John said.

"And where are we and are three children supposed to live while all of this going on?" Elle asked.

"I'll rent something." John said.

Elle rolled her eyes.

"John, it's fine." She said. "If anything, I'll just redecorate it...it'll give me something to do."

"Are you sure?" John asked.

Elle nodded her head.

"Yeah...I'm not in the mood to look for houses and moving again." She said.

"Okay. We do what you want." John said.

"You know I hate having the attention on me." Elle said.

"I just want to make you happy." John said.

"I know, I know." Elle said.

John took Elle's hand then kissed it.
