Grand Return (Courtney and Randy)

Courtney stood backstage dressed in this as she prepared for her grand return to the stage. She hasn't been singing and dancing for years now so she could raise her family and now she couldn't deny she was nervous. It had so much press around it and it was televised so she knew she couldn't mess it up. After all the crap about her incident last month she needed an amazing concert to get her reputation back up. So much was on the line.

"This brings back a bit of deja'vu." Randy said, walking backstage before kissing Courtney lightly on the lips.

"You look amazing." He said.

Courtney chuckled softly.

"Yeah it does and thanks." Courtney said.

"How are you feeling?" Randy asked.

"Fine." Courtney said before she started biting her nails.

"Then why are you biting your nails?" Randy asked.

"Nervous habit." Courtney muttered.

"Everything will be fine." Randy said.

"You don't know that. I could completely mess up." Courtney said.

"No, you're not. They still love you." Randy said.

"They won't if I screw up." Courtney said.

"Court, you're an amazing singer. You won't screw up." Randy said.

"I haven't done this in years, I probably lost the ability to sing." Courtney said.

"Stop doubting yourself, you'll do amazing." Randy said.

"Okay. I trust you." Courtney said.

Randy smiled before kissing Courtney on the top of the head.

"Thanks sweetheart." Courtney said with a smile.

"Anytime sweetie." Randy said.

"You better get to your seat honey." Courtney said.

"Alright. Good luck." Randy said, pecking Courtney on the lps.

"Thanks." Courtney said with a wide smile.

"Welcome." Randy said before walking back to the front of the club.

Courtney took a deep breath before she headed to the curtain.

Randy sat down in his seat.
