The New Position (Anyone)

"Anytime Allie, lucky I was driving back from the grocery store huh?"

"Yeah." Allie said.

"Do you want a drink or something?" Candice asked turning the corner.

"No thanks." Allie said.

"You sure? I don't want you to die of hunger or dehydration sweetie." Candice said stopping at a red light.

"No, I'm fine really." Allie said.

Candice smiled and turned into the hospital car park. Once inside, they went to the A&E desk.

"Excuse me, this is Allie, she's had a bit of an ordeal and she's really hurt her arm." Candice said to the doctor.

"Hi." Allie said.

"OK, Allie we're gonna take you through to have an X-Ray" the doctor said "Does anywhere else hurt?"

"No sir." Allie said.

"OK, can you follow us through into the Radiology room and a nurse will be with you shortly." he smiled.

"Okay." Allie said following the doctor.

Candice followed. There was already a nurse in the room.
"This is Allie Orton, we need to preform an X-Ray on her arm." the doctor said.
"OK. Hello Allie, I'm Susan, can you take a seat here please?"

"Okay." Allie said sitting in the spot.

"Do you have on any jewelry, dentures or any metal objects?" Susan asked Allie.

"Yeah, my necklace and earrings." Allie said.

"OK, can you give them to Candice please? We don't want anything to interfear with the equipment" she smiled "Thank you...now just place your arm here."

Allie took off her jewelry and gave them to Candice. Then she put her arm in the place the nurse told her to.

"This isn't gonna hurt a single bit." Susan smiled.

"I guess." Allie said.

In no time the Xray was taken and Candice and Allie were waiting for the results in the waiting room.

"Did you talk to Daddy again?" Allie asked.

"I spoke before, he's gonna come and pick you up."

"Okay." Allie said kinda scared.

"He said he'll be here to see you in no time."
