Talk It Out (Randy/Courtney)

Randy drank some of the soda he got.

Courtney ran a hand through her hair.

"So, now what?" Randy asked.

"I guess you move back in." Courtney said.

Randy nodded.

"You know I don't get why you can't take some responsibility for the fight when it's really you that threw a fit over the whole five month tour thing in the first place." Courtney said.

"I don't take back what I said, you didn't give me a chance to really explain before you went off." Randy said.

"No you called me selfish and said I only cared about myself. That's when I went off and I had the right to. How fucking dare you tell me I don't care about my kids?! I was there every fucking day when Kayla was in that incubator and where were you? That's right you were fucking comforting Riley and only giving a damn about her! Your own flesh and blood could have died and you didn't give a damn!" Courtney yelled.

Randy rolled his eyes, slightly irritated.

"And that's exactly why I can't talk to you. Cause I say one little thing and you go off on a fucking tangent about every fucking mistake I've made. That was how long ago Court? Get over it and stop holding shit over my head from the past!" Randy yelled. "I'm sorry little Miss Perfect, but like I said earlier if you would've given me a god damn chance to explain what I said than we wouldn't have gotten into this argument to begin with. You're so eager to jump down my throat and remind me of all my problems, but you can't sit back and look at your issues."

"Well why should I let you talk when all you think is that I'm selfish and don't care about my kids when it's you that doesn't care about them. All you're there for is to give them toys and other junk yet when the important things happen and they need you all you do is run off. I'm surprised you didn't go find a whore to sleep with while we were seperated." Courtney said.

Randy glared at Courtney before getting up and walking away.

Courtney sighed then put her face in her hands and shook her head. She lifted her head up then looked at Randy before she got up and followed him.

"Randy don't go." Courtney said.

"Why not? Since I'm such a fuck up and a horrible father." Randy said.

"Randy I'm sorry. I didn't mean that...I just wish you would be there for them more when they really need you." Courtney said.

"No, you did mean it Courtney cause you keep saying it." Randy said. "I'm there for those kids as much as my schedule allows it Court and you know that. I'm doing the best I can to balance work and my family. I may have missed a few moments, yes, but for you to say that shit to me pisses me off when you know I bust my ass to do both."

"I'm sorry okay! What do you want me to say? Huh? How do you expect me not to be pissed or hurt everytime I hear one of the kids ask me when are you coming home and all I can say is soon since I don't fucking know?" Courtney asked.

"You knew what you were getting into when you married me and when we decided to have kids. Nothings change, my schedule is practically the same, so I don't understand why you insist on throwing that in my face." Randy said.

Courtney nodded.

"I'm sorry." Courtney muttered.

Randy nodded, leaning against his truck.

"I missed you Randy." Courtney said.

"I missed you too." Randy said.

Courtney hugged Randy.

Randy hugged Courtney back.

"I never meant for our fight to blow up like it did." Courtney muttered as she buried her face into Randy's shoulder.

"Me either." Randy said.
