Talk It Out (Randy/Courtney)

Randy continued to sleep.

Courtney woke up a couple hours later when she heard banging on the door.

"Mommy! I'm hungry!" Jake yelled.

Courtney groaned then sat up.

Randy yawned as he woke up and got out of the bed, pulling on a pair of shorts.

Courtney put on a pair of sweats and a tank top then walked to the door.

Randy pulled on a shirt and followed Courtney out.

Courtney walked over to Max's room as Kayla and Jake ran downstairs. She smiled at Max in his crib then picked him up and carried him downstairs.

Randy walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

Courtney looked at Randy.

"You know you do have to put the sling back on." Courtney said.

"Can we pretend like we don't?" Randy asked.

"Uh no." Courtney said before she put Max in his high chair before she went upstairs to get the sling.

Randy groaned as he leaned against the counter.

Kayla went over to Randy then hugged his leg.

Randy ruffled up Kayla's hair.

Kayla then held up the get well card she made for Randy.

"Aw, thank you sweetie." Randy said as he took the card and read it.

"You're welcome daddy. Jake signed it and Max couldn't so I just put his hand in paint then had him put his hand print on the card." Kayla said.

"I love it." Randy said.

Kayla smiled widely.

"I'm glad you do." Kayla said.

Courtney came back into the kitchen with the sling then put it on Randy.

"But I hate this sling." Randy muttered.

"Then take it off." Kayla said.

"He has to have it on so he doesn't make his shoulder worse." Courtney said.

"Unfortunately..." Randy said.

"Daddy I don't want you hurt worse so keep it on please?" Kayla asked with a pout.

"Okay, I will." Randy said.
