Allie jumped at the sudden touch, oblivious to what was happening. She watched as Max ran off. She chuckled before running after the three, joining the game.

At that moment Max slipped on a piece of ice then fell down and started crying.

"I think you jinxed it Randy." Courtney said as she ran over to Max then picked him up.

"So it's a major coincidence then?" Courtney asked as she rubbed Max's back and kissed his head.

"What hurts Max?" Courtney asked.

"Hands." Max muttered.

Courtney took Max's hands with one of her own and placed a kiss on them.

"Better?" Courtney asked.

"Mhm." Max said with a nod.

"Want to go back to playing with Allie, Kayla, and Jake?" Courtney asked.

Max nodded then Courtney put him down and watched him run off.

Courtney finally cooled off and came out of the room, hearing the last parts of the conversation.

"It's annoying as hell. It's not like I have my tongue down his freaking throat." Courtney said before she went into the kitchen.

"I'm not mad, I'm annoyed and if you were just kidding around you would have stopped a long time ago when no one thought it was funny. If I want to kiss my husband on the cheek I can do that without a freaking comment about how gross it is. You don't like it? Turn your head." Courtney said.
