Looking Back (Randy/Courtney)

"Thank you." Courtney said, smiling back.

After ten minutes Elaine and Courtney had finished putting the last of the food on the dining room table.

"Bob, Randy dinner's ready!" Elaine yelled.

"Smells good." Randy said, getting up and walking to the table.

"Your mother always puts together a feast when you come over." Bob stated, taking a seat.

"It's because he eats like he's starved himself for months." Elaine said.

"I agree with that. He shovels food down his throat." Courtney said with a chuckle.

"Again, I am right here." Randy said.

"He's a wrestler, it's what we do." Bob said.

"Thanks, Dad. Glad someone is on my side." He said.

"We need to stick together before they gang up on us." Bob chuckled.

"Bob, I have apple pie in the oven I'd hate for it to go to waste because you're not on my side." Elaine said.

"It looked really good too." Courtney said.

"...sorry, son. Can't turn down that apple pie." Bob said.

Randy sat there speechless, before he grumbled to himself and began to eat.

Elaine smiled.

"You're still the sweetest man I know Randy." Courtney said.

Randy smiled and winked at Courtney. "Thank you."

Courtney blushed.

"You're welcome." Courtney said before she went back to eating.

Elaine smiled as she watched the two.

(I'm going to bed, good night!)

Bob looked at Elaine and nodded approvingly of the two.

Randy smiled a bit to himself as he continued to eat.

Elaine smiled then a few minutes later when everyone was done eating she stood up.

"Randy I think you can cut a pie without hurting yourself...I hope." Elaine said with a chuckle as she walked into the kitchen.

"I've got some faith in him, it has nothing to do with fire so he should be okay." Courtney said as she smiled at Randy.

"I'm trying to figure out how I got volunteered to do this." Randy said.

"Just get in there and do it." Bob said.

Randy shook his head as she stood up and walked into the kitchen.

"What you can't help your own mother cut pie now?" Elaine asked as she raised an eyebrow at Randy.

Courtney looked at Bob.

"It was really nice to meet you and Mrs. Orton, the meal was fantastic." Courtney said, still smiling.

"I am doing it." Randy yelled from the kitchen.

"It was great to have you." Bob said.

Elaine shook her head as she walked into the kitchen and took the pie out of the oven.

"Grab the plates." Elaine said.

"Mom, I got it." Randy said, grabbing a knife to cut the pie along with some plates.

"Alright." Elaine said before she walked back into the dining room.

Randy cut the pie and put the slices on the plates. He walked out and set them in front of everyone.

"Wow, this look delicious." Courtney said before she started eating.

"Thank you." Elaine said with a smile.

"Her pies are always fantastic." Bob said.

"I agree." Randy nodded as he took a seat.

"Thank you everyone." Elaine said as she started eating.

Courtney started eating as well.

"You know...this would be a perfect time to pull out pictures. Courtney you have to see Randy when he was a baby, he was so cute." Elaine said smiling widely as she quickly got up and walked upstairs.

"I knew this was going to happen." Randy said with a sigh.

"You know how she is." Bob said.

"I'm sure there isn't anything embarrassing." Courtney said with a chuckle.

Elaine came back with a photo album then set it down on the table. She took a baby picture of Randy out and handed it to Courtney.

"He was such a cute little baby, so sweet." Elaine said with a smile as she pinched Randy's cheek then sat down.

"Ugh..mom..." Randy groaned.

"What? You were very cute, tell him Courtney." Elaine said.

"You were very aborable." Courtney said with a chuckle.

"He was such a handful though. I can't tell you how many times after a bath he would take his diaper off and run around the house butt naked." Elaine said as she shook her head.
