Courtney sniffled.

"I'm kind of tired...I think I need a nap." Courtney said.

Courtney nodded then went upstairs to their room. She lied down on the bed then fell asleep. Ten minutes later she had flashbacks in her head of her dad shooting her in court, then trying to kill her in Randy's house, and of what he said to her in the police station. She couldn't snap out of them and wake up but she ended up crying, shaking, and screaming in her sleep.

Randy heard all the noise and rushed upstairs. He went into the room and saw Courtney. He began to shake her. "Court, wake up."

Courtney didn't wake up she just continued crying and screaming.

Courtney heard Randy's voice then slowly woke up. She opened her eyes and looked around before she looked at Randy then burst into tears.

Randy pulled Courtney into a tight hug.

Courtney buried her face into Randy's shoulder as she continued crying.

"He's never going to go away, he's always going to hurt me no matter where he is." Courtney said.

"I'm so scared of him." Courtney said.

"I know it might sound awful to say but I'm glad he's dead." Courtney said.

"I really wish you could have met my mom. She was amazing, always looking out for me and making sure I was happy even though our situation was crappy. She always wanted to best for me and for everyone really." Courtney said.
