Wondering What If

Randy, Courtney, John, and Elle decided to have a small get together. It had been awhile since the four of them had hung out and decided to catch up over dinner. The four of them always had a good time, even with John and Randy's constant fighting. The dinner wasn't anything fancy, everyone just wanting to have a casual night.

Randy slid into the booth after they were walked to the table.

Elle slid into the seat opposite of where Randy and Courtney were going to sit.

Courtney sat down next to Randy as John sat next to Elle.

"I'm really glad we could hang out, the four of us." Courtney said with a smile.

"I agree, it's been a while." John said.

"Way too long, plus I missed you Courtney...oh and you too, Randy." Elle chuckled.

Randy rolled his eyes. "Gee, thanks Eleanor."

"I missed you too Elle, I must give you a hug." Courtney said with a chuckle before she got up and hugged Elle.

"I could say I missed you both but I see Randy every Monday and I never want to see Courtney." John said.

"Touche." Courtney said as she looked at John.

Elle chuckled, hugging Courtney back. "I wish I got the chance to see Courtney more often."

"Then I'd have to deal with you, so stay where you are at." Randy said.

"Shut up Randy, Elle needs to come to St. Louis more." Courtney said.

"She's fine in California with John." Randy said.

"Hush, you love having me nearby." Elle said.

"Well, that's a lie." Randy said.

"We should move to California then we would all be close." Courtney said with a smile.

"No, stay in Missouri." John said.

"That would be amazing." Elle said excitedly.

"We are not moving." Randy said.

"Oh come on Randy. I've always wanted to live there." Courtney said.

"Everything I love is in St.Louis, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else." Randy said.

"Elle was able to move." Courtney said.

"See Orton, look what you have to deal with. Imagine what would have happened if you actually stayed with Elle." John said with a chuckle.

"That's cause John is whipped." Randy chuckled. "And I don't even want to imagine being married to her..."

"Hush, you loved me." Elle said.

"You did Randy, I remember how pissed you got when you found out we kissed when you were dating her." John said.

"I don't know what you speak of." Randy said.

"Sure you don't. You looovveeed me." Elle cooed.

"He wanted to kill me. All of that 'I don't care about her' crap is crap." John said.

"You don't want to deny it Randy, I even know how much you cared about her before we started going out." Courtney said.

"He's so full of shit." Elle said.

"All of you, shut up. Goodness, all of that was in the damn past." Randy said.

"I'm just saying...if you never started dating Courtney you probably would be married to Elle right now." John said.

Randy sighed. "Yeah...guess you're right..."

"I couldn't even imagine." Elle chuckled.

"I wonder how things would have been different if you and Randy were married." John said as he started thinking.

"Bad..." Elle replied.

"Hush, it wouldn't have been that terrible.." Randy muttered.

Randy was in a panic, was was not expecting this to be happening. His wife Elle was backstage at one of the Raw shows and his mistress Courtney was supposed to be showing up there that exact night.

Things were just bad. Elle had no idea about Courtney and Courtney thought Randy and Elle were separated. It was partially true, him and Elle were so on and off throughout the years and despite being married that it would be easy to buy. But with both of them not knowing about the other, if one ran into the other shit would blow up.

Randy walked up to John's locker room and knocked on the door, need his friends help.

John was preparing for a match when he heard a knock on the door. He put on his cap then put on his wristbands before he answered the door.

"What's up Orton?" John asked.

"I need your help..badly." Randy said. "Can you keep an eye on Elle?"

"Why?" John asked.

Of course he really didn't mind, he always had a thing for Elle but had to keep it a secret since she was married to his best friend.

"I..uh...have something I need to take care of. I just don't want Elle roaming around here and getting lost, you know how she is." Randy said, not talking about the affair. John had no idea, he knew Randy messed around before he got married to Elle, but he kept his affair with Courtney a secret.
