(So, do you want to skip and do something like Randy/Elle sign the papers to make the divorce final and maybe Courtney goes into labor or something like that?)

Elle smiled as she pulled John on top of her.

(Months Later)

Elle sighed nervously as she got out of her car. Her and Randy were meeting at the lawyer's office today to sign their divorce papers. It was a big day, she was happy but sad at the same time. She'd known Randy for such a long time and still loved him, but this was only right.

Randy waited in the office. Leaning back in his chair. All he was waiting for was Elle so that this all could begin. He really never thought that any of this would be happening, but he hurt Elle too much and he knew that she needed to be happy. Plus him and Courtney had been living with each other and had been getting along well, he wasn't too sure what that meant, but he did enjoy her company.

Courtney was sitting at home relaxing as Randy went to sign the divorce papers. She was heavily pregnant and the doctor said she could have the baby any day now. Just sitting around got her quickly bored though so stood up from her bed and went into the babies room. She smiled as she looked around, her and Randy had got it down a couple weeks ago. Of course though there were babies clothes and other things that had to be put away after her friends gave them to her at the baby shower. So since she had nothing better to do as she waited for Randy to come home she decided to put them away.

Elle walked into the offices and saw Randy. She didn't say anything as she took a seat across from him. The lawyer talked for a moment and explained what would happen, and the agreements of the divorce such as who would get what.

The lawyer slid the papers and Randy looked down at them, and sighed. "I'm sorry." He said to Elle, sincerely before she wrote his signature.

Elle still didn't say anything, she just looked down at the papers and was hesitant at first but did eventually sign them. The lawyer took the document and stood up to give them a moment.

"You going to stay mad at me for forever?" Randy asked.

"I.." Elle stopped herself and simply sighed. She walked over to Randy and bent to down to kiss him gently on the lips. "You know I can't stay mad at you for forever, I'm just hurt." She said, she kissed him on the forehead before she raised up. "Bye Randy." She turned around and left the office. She took out her phone and texted John.

It's over. Signed the papers.

Randy left a little bit after Elle and called Courtney to check on her.

John was waiting patiently...well maybe not but he was waiting for a call or text from Elle as he sat on the couch in a hotel suite. He literally had his cell phone sitting right next to him. When he heard it ring, telling him there was a text he grabbed it and looked at it before he texted back.

You okay?

Courtney heard the phone ring and waddled out of the baby's room then went into her room to grab the phone off the nightstand. She saw it was Randy's number then answered it as she took a seat on the bed.

"Hey, how'd it go?" Courtney asked.

Been better. A little overwhelmed, but I am glad it's over. She texted back as she walked to her car.

"Went fine. It's over, so take that for what you will." Randy said.

Courtney sighed.

"So I'm guessing you both are going to be friends again?" Courtney asked as she leaned back against the pillows and rubbed her belly.

"I don't know, I'm leaving all of that to her. I am not going to push it." Randy replied.

"That sounds like a good idea, I hope things work out for the best for you both." Courtney said.

She then felt some pain in her stomach and groaned as she held her stomach.
