Returning (Jeff/Cassie)

Honestly, if Cass was honest with him in the first place he would easily forgive her. But since she liked hiding things, he would ignore her until her secret came into the light. She said that she was going to Jonathan's house, why wouldn't he be suspicious? And how she was lying? Cass basically put the idea of her cheating in his head.

"You are so stupid! You literally told him where you were going! Why should he believe you, you stupid bitch!" Cassie said to herself. She seriously needed Jeff to believe she hadn't been to Jonathan's. Then again, why was she here? She had told herself that she was in love with Jonathan. So why was she back with Jeff?

Jeff sighed as he set his sketchbook down and ran his fingers through his head, extremely stressed out.

Cass sat up off the bed and paced around the room for a while. It seemed like forever. She knew she needed to speak to Jeff again. She walked downstairs and knocked on the door to his studio.

"Come in.." Jeff said.

Cass walked in calmly. "I'm gonna try this again. I'm sorry for EVERYTHING I've done. Hurting you was never my intentions...I don't even know what my intentions were."

Jeff nodded, "I'll forgive you Cass if you just tell me EXACTLY what you did."

"I drove to the hospital and Jonathan checked me into a patient room...I didn't tell him what happened I told him I got locked out and you weren't in. He asked if I wanted to stay at his I declined. I promise."

Jeff still wasn't convinced but he didn't like seeing her upset. "So where did you go?"

"The hospital's called Trinity it's about an hour's drive away...I stayed there I'm even logged into the registry book." Cass had made sure that Jonathan had put her name down just to be sure.

Jeff nodded, "Okay."

"Just okay? You still don't believe me do you?" Cass asked.

"I'm not going to answer that."

"I promise you I'm telling you the truth...tell me honestly...do you really think I'd actually cheat on you? After everything we've been through?"

Jeff sighed, "No."

Cass walked closer to him.
"When we got married I made a vow that it'd only be you...I will never ever break that vow...ever."

Jeff nodded, she was right. Maybe he was too out of line, Cass would never do anything to him like that, right? "I know."

Cass sat down next to Jeff.
"So can we put the past behind us? Can we go back to how we were?"

Jeff nodded, "Yeah."

Cass smiled a little.
"Can I have a hug?"

Jeff couldn't help but smile a little as well before pulling Cass into a hug, "I'm so sorry baby girl." He said softly.

Cass wrapped her arms tightly around Jeff, trying not to cry.
"It's me who should be sorry for putting ideas in your head."

"Its okay." Jeff said.

"No it's not...I promise you that Jonathan is just my doctor...he is nothing to me."

Jeff couldn't help but growl lightly at the name. Jonathan...shut up, shut up, SHUT UP! He was sick of the name. Jeff nodded again, "Okay."
