One Last Shot!!! (Elle/John)

John was sitting around his house trying to figure out away to get his life back on track. HE hasnt done much of anything since Elle and Anthony lefted almost nine months ago. Now that he was trying to get back to the way things were something in the back of his mind told him that something bad was about to happen. As he was getting ready to go on the road he heard a knock at his door.

He went and opened it..

"Can I help you?" He asked

Elle stands there next to her lawyer as he hands John the divorce papers, not saying a word to him.

John looks at her and takes the papers

"What are these."

"Divorce papers." Elle replies.

"I'm not signing them." He says handing them back to her and shutting the door

Elle rolls her eyes, banging on the door before dropping the papers on the mat and starting to walk back to her car.

John sighs opening the door and picking them up throwing them in the trash can

"Damn you Cena, just look the papers over. You don't have to sign them now." Elle says.

"Why? You never contacted me about this so why should I please you about them now?" He yelled back

"Because I don't want to be with you anymore!" Elle yells back. "I no longer want any part of you involved in my life."

"Its too late for that Elle you have my son so I'm going to be in your life no matter what you think because of my son."

"Unfortunately...but I don't want to be married to you to anymore. You broke our vows." Elle says.

"Would it help if I told you that your sister hates you and she was getting back at you by using me. She knew that it would hurt you so much Elle and look what it done to us. She never had feelings for me she was just using me to get back at you and mess you up."

"No, it doesn't help John because if wasn't Bree doing this to hurt us, it would've been some other skank. You cheated on me John, it doesn't matter who it was or what the reasoning behind them wanting to be with you...you still cheated. You could've easily turned her away or said no, but instead you sneaked around with my sister on OUR wedding day and continued to do so, after telling me you love me and that you wanted me. You are so full of shit John and I can't believe I believed a single word of it." Elle says.

"I'm guessing Matt and Evan didnt tell you how she came onto me at the chruch or how I pushed her away, but that is okay because I'm signing a damn thing and you cant make me."

"None of that matters Cena! You still slept with her and left me for her, whether or not you tried to push her away at first...you still gave int." Elle replies. "And you're signing those damn papers, I will go after your ass if you don't...don't think I won't take this to court."

"Do you what you must Elle, but I'm not signing the papers and just know that I will fight back just as hard."

"Fight back? There's nothing you can do, I'll win. You cheated on me, there's proof and any court realize that. So, let's just make this quick and painless. Read over the damn papers and sign them." Elle says.

"There is always away Elle. I have my ways and I'm not signing them."

"Just sign them John, I don't want any money, you can keep the house, the cars, and you can still see John. I just don't want this anymore." Elle says.

John shakes his head walking back into the house

Elle takes the papers out of the trash can before following John into the house.

Slamming the door behind her she, drops the papers on top of a table by the door.

"Why do you insist on making this so damn complicated? I'm trying make this is as easy as possible for us and for our son." She says, standing there with her hands on her hips.

"Thanks for knocking. Me making it hard you havent talk to me since you lefted. So forgive me when I dont want to do something just to please you."

"I don't have to fucking knock, I'm still married to you so this house is technically still partly mine." She says, snapping at him. "And what the fuck do you want me to say to you? You left me for her, there is nothing I can say. You made your choice, so live with it...I don't have shit to say to you."

John shakes his head

"She didnt want me Elle, she done it to get back at you and I fell for it like a jackass because she made me think that I was happy."
