House Hunting (Jeff/Raina/Dave)

Rai sat on the hood of her hummer waiting for Jeff and Dave to show up to look at the house with her.

Jeff got out of his car with Dave then smiled at Rai.

"Hey." Jeff said.

"Hey yourself. So your ready to let your creative mind flow?" Rai asked as she climbed down trying to make sure she didn't hurt herself. "I hate being so damn short."

"Very ready and you're adorable being so short." Jeff said.

Rai smiled and wrapped her arms around him. "Aren't you sweet." She then looked at Dave. "You looking forward to helping your little sister pick out a place?"

"Of course I am because that means I get to spend more time with you." Dave said.

Rai laughed and started to go towards the house. "This is one of those fixxer uppers I was telling you about." She said as she opened the door to the huge house.

Jeff and Dave nodded as they walked in.

Rai stopped in the foyer and looked around. "I was thinking about maybe knocking out some of these walls here so that all this is an open space." She looked at Jeff and Dave for their thoughts.

"That sounds good." Jeff said.

Dave nodded in agreement.

Rai walked over to where there was a hallway behind the stairs. "This I would leave alone and there's a few rooms down here along with a bathroom. Upstairs has a few rooms along with two bathrooms then there is a few spaces downstairs with a half bath." She looked at the two wanting to see what else they thought.

"I love this house." Jeff said.

"Can I live here when Candice gets really moody?" Dave asked.

"Well I would make sure you have a room here." Rai said with a smile. "I love the back yard." She went through the kitchen to the patio to show the back yard that had a built in bar-b-que, pool, hot tub, and a large empty building. "I figured we can turn that building into a recording studio for your band Jeff and there is plenty of room back here to get another area built for a practice ring." She looked at Jeff. "You said to narrow down my choices this was my favorite of the five that you chose based on size."

"We should just buy this one. I bet the others suck." Jeff said.

"So you don't want to look at the other ones?" Rai asked as she looked at him closely before looking at Dave. "What do you think big guy?"

"This is the best house ever." Dave said.

"Ok then." Rai took out her phone and dialed the real estate agent. "Hello Ms. Bautista I take it you have decided on the house that you wanted." "Yes I have. I would like to put in an offer on the one I marked with a star." "Your in luck the owner has come down in their price." "By how much?" "Two grand." "Wow. Um lower my offer by two and let's get the ball rolling." "Are you sure I mean that is more then what they are asking." "I really want this house and the only way that is going to happen is if I make a nice enough offer." "Hold on a second Ms. Bautista the owner just arrived. Let me tell them of your offer." "Sure thing."

Rai started pacing a little waiting to hear the answer. "Ms. Bautista?" "I'm here." "They accepted the offer and I will start the paperwork. They will be ready for signing tomorrow." Rai smiled. "Thank you! I'll see you tomorrow." Rai closed her phone then turned to jump into Jeff's arms. She kissed him then got down and jumped into Dave's arms and hugged him tightly. After she pulled away she started dancing happily.

"You got the house?" Dave asked.

"Yes for two grand less than I was originally going to pay." She had the biggest smile on her face glad that everything was on the right track.

Jeff smiled widely then hugged Rai.

Rai snuggled into him and sighed. She then looked at Dave. "I'm officially home."

"Yep you are." Dave said.

Rai went and hugged him. "You're stuck with me Dave."

"Oh great." Dave joked with a chuckle.

Rai slapped his stomach and rolled her eyes. She then got excited again when she realized she would actually be owning a house. She clapped excitedly and bounced on her feet.
