Quality time long overdue (Rai/Jeff)

"About?" Jeff asked.

Rai looked at him and then at her hands. "I'm thinking about quiting wrestling."

"Why?" Jeff asked.

Rai looked at him. "Don't have the same fire for it that I used to."

"I guess it's your decision." Jeff said.

"I wanted to see what you thought about it. I'm taking classes for business management and my dad offered me a job at his studio until I get my degree. Also I'm going to put my massage therapist certification to use if I decide to leave the business." Rai looked at Jeff with a shrug. "Like I said I've been thinking."

"So you're leaving wrestling to be a massage therapist?" Jeff asked.

"The money is good, I can make my own schedule so I'll be with the kids more and be at home more."

"Okay." Jeff said.

Rai leaned back on the couch. "I hate being away from the kids so much. Plus I miss you. I think this is the most we've seen of each other in almost a month."

"Well if I'm traveling we're going to see each other less and less." Jeff said as he looked down at the floor.

Rai got up and put her arms around his waist. "Jeff as long as I get to talk to you every once in a while I can handle anything else that gets thrown at me."

Jeff nodded then smiled as he hugged Rai.

Rai closed her eyes and breathed in his scent. She missed him and she was glad he was home.

Jeff kissed Rai on her head.

Rai smiled. "So what do you want to do?"

"I don't know." Jeff said.

Rai laughed. She went to go sit on the couch but Jeff wouldn't let her go. She smiled.

Jeff unwrapped his arms from Rai then sat down.

Rai sat on his lap and laid her head on his chest.

Jeff smiled.

Rai listened to his heartbeat and smiled.

Jeff rubbed Rai's back.

Rai leaned into his touch.

Jeff smiled.
