John opened the door then walked into the room. He walked over to Savannah and bent down to her level.

"Sweetie I care about you, your brothers, and you mom more than anything why can't you see that?" John asked.

"No not yet. I have to make one more than we can put the syrup on top and they'll be ready to be served." John said with a smile.

John walked out of the bedroom then went back downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Can you grab the syrup Sav?" John asked as he put batter into the pan.

Savannah nodded and went the cabinet, happy that the syrup was at a level where she could reach it.

John finished the last pancake then set it on top of the other two.

Savannah walked over and handed John the syrup.

"Thank you." John said as he poured the syrup over the pancakes.

He then grabbed a fork and filled a cup with juice.

"Alright, all ready for your mom." John said.

John nodded before he walked upstairs to his and Elle's room. He walked over to the bed then looked down at Elle a she slept.

"Elle." John said, putting the juice on the bedside table.

He then shook her shoulder gently to wake her up.
