John walked downstairs then grabbed his keys off the coffee table in the living room. He walked to the door and opened it before standing to the side, allowing Elle to exit the house first.

John nodded then walked out of the house, locking the door after he did. He walked to his car and unlocked it before he opened the passenger door for Elle.
