Birthday Trip

Courtney was waiting for Allie in the airport in Houston, Texas. Allie was getting flown in to hang out with her for a couple concerts so she could get the feel of being a singer. It was also her birthday and Courtney had some amazing news for Allie that she couldn't wait to share. She looked around then when she spotted Allie by the baggage claim and walked up behind her.

"Hey birthday girl." Courtney said with a wide smile.

After Allie grabbed her bag, she jumped in surprise. She turned around and feigned terror. "You gave me a fright." Allie said in her best English accent before smiling and hugging Courtney.

Courtney chuckled.

"Are you sure you're the person I'm looking for? I don't remember her being English." Courtney joked before hugging Allie back.

"Nah, I'm still the loud-mouthed, short, platinum blonde chick that you know and love." Allie said with a smile.

"Good. I was hoping so because if you weren't I couldn't say...Happy Birthday!" Courtney exclaimed with a wide smile.

"Yay!" Allie cheered with a wide smile. "Thank you."

"You're welcome. I also have some other news for you." Courtney said.

"What?" Allie asked.

"Well...I was talking to my manager who has recently talked to the recording label I'm signed to..." Courtney paused to leave some suspense.

Allie's face dropped. "I didn't get it, did I?"

"Yes you did! They totally want to bring you in to record your songs!" Courtney exclaimed with a wide smile.

Allie's jaw dropped. "You're lying...no way!" She yelled.

"Would I be this happy for you if I was lying?" Courtney asked.

"No...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Allie screamed.

Courtney giggled.

"I'm so happy for you Allie." Courtney said.

Allie hugged Courtney.

"Thank you!!"

"You're welcome, you deserve this. You're going to be amazing." Courtney said.

"I've been writing more lately too. I've been wanting you to see them."

"I'll see them when we get on the tour bus. Come on, let's get out of here." Courtney said grabbed Allie's suitcase then heading towards the exit

Allie smiled. "I'm so excited! I'll be seeing you live for the first time."

"I hope you have fun and enjoy the concert. I really enjoy entertaining people." Courtney said with a smile.

"Me being this excited reminds me of my first concert." Allie said with a giggle.

"Who's concert was your first?" Courtney asked.

Allie laughed.

"My first concert was an N'sync concert when I was like...three."

"I used to love their music." Courtney said.
