Not What We Were Expecting (Courtney and Elle)

Courtney was nine months pregnant as she walked down the stairs. Tonight her and Elle were going to an awards show that Courtney was nominated for three awards. She smiled at her friend.

"How do I look? I feel huge." Courtney said with a small chuckle.

(The dress)

"You look great Court." Elle says, looking up when Courtney come downstairs.

(Her Dress)

"Thanks, so do you." Courtney said as she grabbed her coat.

"The limo should be here soon." Courtney said.

"Are you sure about this?" Elle asks.

"I'm sure. Nothing you or Randy or anyone say will make me stay here at home." Courtney said.

"I'm almost positive we could come up with something if we tried hard enough." Elle says.

"No you couldn't. I'm going no matter what." Courtney said.

"I'm very sure that we could." Elle says.

"Well go ahead and try then." Courtney said.

"Court you aren't going because I will lock you in this house." Elle says.

"I'll find a way out." Courtney said.

"You aren't getting out." Elle says.

"Watch me." Courtney said as she walked to the door.

"Why do you insist on being so stubborn?" Elle asks.

"Because I want to go to the damn award show." Courtney said.

"You can barely walk and you look you can burst at any minute." Elle says.

"Oh thanks. I love being reminded about how big I am. Must I remind you I'm carrying a boy and I'm sure he has Randy's big head." Courtney said.

"You decided to have Orton's kids...not me. And you're so big because you're nine months pregnant and you should be home, not at an award show." Elle says.

"I'll be here tomorrow." Courtney said.

"You need to be here tonight." Elle says.

"I'll be here after the show." Courtney said.

"You need to stay here." Elle says.

"Do not." Courtney said as she put on her coat.

"Court pleas try to be reasonable." Elle says.

"No...I see the limo." Courtney said with a smile before she waddled over to the limo.
