Not What We Were Expecting (Courtney and Elle)

Elle groans.

"Court please don't do this." Elle says.

"Too late, I'm getting into the car." Courtney said as she slowly got into the car then relaxed against the seat.

Elle groans, reluctantly getting into the limo.

"See I knew you would want to go." Courtney said.

Elle shakes her head.

"What are you shaking your head for? You know you wanted to go." Courtney said.

"I would if you weren't nine months pregnant." Elle says.

"Just pretend I'm not then. I've just been eating far too much food." Courtney said.

"Not going to work." Elle says.

"You didn't even try." Courtney said.

"I did, it just didn't take me very long to realize that it wouldn't work." Elle replies.

"The baby and I will be fine, don't worry." Courtney said.

"I am worried." Elle says.

"Well stop, it's going to be fun." Courtney said.

"Right." Elle says.

"It will be." Courtney said.

"You know what else would be fun?" Elle asks.

"What?" Courtney asked.

"Sitting at home with a tub of ice cream, pizza, and fries while watching a bunch of t.v." Elle says.

Courtney glared at Elle.

"That's not fun." Courtney said.

"Yes it is...you know want a big tub of party cake ice cream right now." Elle says.

"Elle stop it. I'm not going home." Courtney said.

"Mmmm.... a nice big tub of party cake ice cream with some fries. Doesn't sound good?" Elle says.

Courtney just continued glaring until the limo stopped.

"Oh look we're at the awards." Courtney said with a grin.

Elle rolls her eyes.
