Mixed Emotions (John/Elle)

"I didn't want to know. I'm guessing heroin since that's what she used a lot when I was growing up." Elle replies.

John nodded as he continues to rub her back

"I just feel like a horrible person for just cutting myself off from her like that." Elle says.

"Elle I dont know what to say, but you must have had a good reason to do it." John says trying to be helpful

"I did cause I was tired of dealing with her shit. It's just the last couple years she had been trying to talk to me and I ignored her." Elle says.

"Do you think that if you would have talked to her it would have been better?" He asked

Elle shrugs her shoulders.

"I don't know but it would've been better than having her die with her knowing that I hate her." She says.

John nodded

Elle nods her head.

"So what do we do first?" He asked

"I was planning on going though her things so that I can send them to the Goodwill." Elle says.

"Do you want to get started on that?" He asked

"Umm..yeah." Elle replies.

"Okay. Where to first?" He asked

"The closet." Elle says.

John nodded getting up and helping her up before walking into the closet

Elle grabs a few empty boxes and walks into the closet.

John starts pulling down clothes

Elle takes the clothes and start to fold them before putting them into the box.

John takes some more down for her and hands them to her before grabbing somemore down

Elle continues to fold and put the clothes in the boxes.

"Well, well if it isn't Eleanor." Michael says, leaning against the doorway of the closet.

Elle looks up at him.

"Long time no see." He says with a smirk as he looks her over.

John looks at him

"Well aren't you going to say anything to me?" Michael asks.

"I'd rather not." Elle mutters.

"That's no way to treat your dad." He says.

"Stepdad." Elle corrects him.

Micheal rolls his eyes before looking at John.

"Who is the big guy?" Michael asks.

"My husband." Elle replies, standing up.

"You got.." He begins to say but notice her baby bump. "Ah, no wonder you're married."

John pulled Elle behind him glaring

"And he's your bodyguard? Wow Elle, seems like you found yourself a good one." Michael says.
