Moving into the Apartment (Anyone?)

Bethany struggled to balance the box on her knee as she tried to open the door to her new apartment. Her she was alone again. Losing her balance she sighed when her box fell and her book spilled down the stairs.

"Oh man," Bethany muttered.

Courtney was in the building visiting an old friend of hers from college when she saw a woman drop her stuff onto the floor and down the sitars. She picked up the belongings at the bottom of the stairs then walked up them.

"Here." Courtney said as she held out the stuff to Bethany.

"Thank you," Bethany said, pushing the door open with her foot and carrying the books inside.

"You're welcome. Do you need any help?" Courtney asked.

"Help would be nice," Bethany smiled shyly.

"What do you need help with?" Courtney asked.

"Just unpacking," Bethany said.

Courtney nodded then walked in and went over to a box.

Bethany started unpacking her journals.

Courtney started unpacking some books.

"Thanks for the help," Bethany said. "I've never lived alone before."

"It's no problem at all." Courtney said with a smile.

"I'm Bethany by the way," the blonde said.

"I'm Courtney Orton." Courtney said.

Bethany smiled. "So you're the one married to Randy," Behany said.

"Yep. We have two kids and one on the way." Courtney said with a smile.

Bethany smiled. "I'm supposed to be interviewing Randy next week," Bethany said.

"He's a nice guy unless you piss him off." Courtney said.

Bethany nodded. "I've heard," Bethany said.

"So I suggest you don't say anything that will get him angry." Courtney said.

"Oh I won't Bethany said. "Trust me."

Courtney chuckled.

The British blonde smiled. "This is way different from London," Bethany said.

"I'm sure it is." Courtney said.

"It'll take a while to get used to," Bethany said.
