Babysitting Nightmares (Orton kids)

"Wow you were able to get them all asleep?" Courtney asked.

"Hard, but I did it." Allie said smiling to herself.

"I'm proud of you." Courtney said.

"Thank you very much." Allie said.

"You're welcome. Your dad and I won't be much longer, we're just walking around downtown." Courtney said.

"That's fine, just call me when you're on your way back." Allie said.

"Okay." Courtney said.

"Bye," Allie said.

"Bye." Courtney said before she hung up.

Allie sighed before drifting to sleep.

The kids continued sleeping.

Allie went to sleep.

Kayla woke up a couple minutes later then went downstairs.

Allie woke up when she heard someone coming downstairs.

Kayla sat in front of the front door.

Allie walked up to Kayla, "What are you doing?" Allie asked.

"Waiting for mommy and daddy." Kayla said.

"I thought we made a deal." Allie said.

"I don't care about the dumb deal." Kayla said.

"Why not?" Allie asked.

"I'm doing what I want to do." Kayla said.

"No you're not, you need to sleep. If you don't you won't have the energy to play with Daddy tomorrow." Allie said trying to convince Kayla.

"I always have energy." Kayla said.

"Not all the time." Allie said.

"I do so." Kayla said stubbornly.
