Catching Up With Family (Randy/Courtney)

"Explain to me how I am just supposed to pretend that everything is okay? I'm being accused of beating my wife, I'm the father to a whore who most of the time I can't even stand, you're still bitter about it. I've been putting on an act for months now, I can't take it anymore." Randy said. "Cause it seems to me that all were is a damn image, it's not even realy anymore. We pretend that it's okay and that we're happy. But are we? Really?"

"Well then what the hell should we do?! Huh Randy?! Because I've run out of fucking answers." Courtney said as tears started to well up in her eyes.

"All I've ever wanted was for us to be happy and have a great relationship but it seems like everyone is trying to destroy it." Courtney said.

"There is nothing we can do. No matter what, I am still the douche bag and you come out of it looking fantastic. I get that we don't want this, but seriously, Court. All of the shit has been happening and it's been resting on my shoulders." Randy said.

"And you think I have any control over that? You actually think I want everyone around the world to think you abuse me?" Courtney said.

"Courtney, this isn't just about the abuse. It's about everything that has happened that the press has gotten ahold of." Randy said.

Courtney ran a hand through her hair.

"What do you want me to do?" Courtney asked, a bit defeated.

"Like I said, nothing you can do. Just pretend like we're happy and everything is alright." He said.

"Well you seem convinced that it's a dumb idea." Courtney said.

"We can only pretend for so long, Court." Randy said.

Courtney lied her head on Randy's shoulder.

"What are you suggesting then?" Courtney asked.

Randy shrugged.

"Don't know, this out of our hands." He said.

Courtney sighed and nodded.

"What did your agent or whatever say?" Randy asked.

"He said he would try to contact all the websites and magazines to try to get the report taken off and to not be on the cover of anymore magazines or in them. Pretty much trying to make it look like it never happened though I doubt it'll go away that easy." Courtney said.

"I doubt it will too." He said with a sigh. "I just wanted to know who would spill some lie like that to the media."

"I don't know. My manager said the person claimed to be a former friend of ours. I just know if I find out who started this I'm going to love kicking their ass." Courtney said.

"Okay, which of friends have you fallen out with lately?" Randy asked.

"I can't really think of anyone. What about you?" Courtney asked.

"Same here, we pretty much know the same people." Randy said.

"Well you get along with that whore you knocked up but I don't." Courtney said.

"She's the mother of my kid, Court. I kind of have to get along with her." Randy said

"You don't think she couldn't have possibly had something to do with this? She got pregnant in the first place to split us up you know." Courtney said.

"Why would she do that? She knows if I found out I'd want nothing to do with her." Randy said.

Courtney shook her head then stood up.

"Forget it. Not like you would believe me anyway." Courtney said.

"What's that supposed to mean? I'm just saying, what good would she get out of doing that? She knows I'd leave and have nothing to do with her." Randy said.
