First Day Of School (Randy/Kayla)

Kayla stood in the kitchen as she waited for breakfast to be served. Today was her first day of preschool and she hated it. She was totally fine with never having to go to school and staying home with Courtney. Kayla got up from the kitchen table and ran upstairs before she went into her room. After she took off her clothes she got into a pair of pajamas then got back into bed.

"I'm not going to school." Kayla muttered.

Randy looked at Kayla and quirked an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you are. Go upstairs and get changed." He said, going through the pantry to find some cereal.

Kayla shook her head and put her blanket over her head.

"No." Kayla said.

"Yes." Randy said, pulling off the blanket and picking up Kayla.

Kayla whined.

"Nooo, I don't want to go." Kayla said with a pout.

"You're going, Kayla, end of discussion." He said.

"No I'm not!" Kayla screamed as she started squirming around in Randy's arms.

Randy rolled his eyes, overpowering Kayla's kicking.

"Not getting out of this one."

"Put me down!" Kayla screamed.

"No, if you cooperate then we'll go for ice cream when you get out of school." He said.

"I don't care about ice cream. I'm not going." Kayla said stubbornly.

"You're going Kayla, end of discussion." He said.

"I'm going back to bed." Kayla said.

"You aren't school starts soon." He said.

"I don't care, I don't want to go. I want to stay home with you and mommy." Kayla said.

"You'll see us after school. You'll have." Randy said.

"No, I'm staying here. I don't know anyone there." Kayla said.

"You are going to meet kids there." Randy said.

"What if nobody likes me?" Kayla asked.

"Sweetie, they'll love you. You have a great personality." Randy said

"You're just saying that because I'm your daughter." Kayla said.

"No, I'm being serious." Randy said.

Kayla crossed her arms.

"I still don't want to go." Kayla said.

"Too bad, you're going." Randy said.

Kayla pouted then sighed.

"Fine..." Kayla muttered.
