Home At Last (Wade/Lucky)

lucky and Wade were home for a few days. Lucky was playing with Tanner while Eli slept upstairs. Wade walked into the room.

"Stay there for a minute." Lucky said, "Tanner, walk to daddy." she said giving him a light push towards Wade, he slowly ambled toward him.

Wade's smile grew as he watched Tanner wobble his way over to him. Once he finally made it, Wade scooped him up to his arms.

"Great job, man." Wade said with a proud smile on his face.

Lucky smiled and clapped, "Yay!"

Wade smiled as he hugged Tanner.

"It's so nice to be home." Lucky said

"I agree, no more stress." Wade said.

"Yeah, I know, if things got any more stressful I think I might have exploded."

Wade nodded. "Well it's what we do."

"Yep." Lucky said

Wade sat down and put Tanner on the floor and watched him wobble back to Lucky.

Lucky smiled as she picked him up and kissed his forehead.

Wade smiled at the two.

Lucky smiled back at him as she set Tanner in her lap.

Wade sat back and relaxed. "It really is good to be home."

"Fer sure." Lucky said

Wade raised an eyebrow. "Since when are you into that kind of lingo?"

"I don't know, since when do you say the word lingo?" She asked

"Ah, touche." Wade said.

"That's what I thought." Lucky joked

Wade rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

"You take everything so seriously." Lucky said

"So do you." Wade said.

"Yeah, ok." Lucky said

"I speak the truth." Wade said.

"I think you're lying." Lucky said
