We Need To Talk (Wade/Lucky)

Lucky sat on the couch waiting for Wade to get home from a show. She didn't care if it was late, she couldn't wait until morning to talk to him. Lucky heard the door open and liked in it's direction to see Wade walk in the door.

Wade looked at Lucky with a raised eyebrow. "Oh...hi."

"Hey..." Lucky said, "We need to talk."

"About what...?" Wade asked, worried.

"Well, I was at the gym today and I met someone you knew." Lucky said, "Her name is Jennifer, your ex wife?"

Wade groaned as he ran a hand through his hair. "Really? Why today?"

Lucky shrugged, "Why haven't I ever heard about her?"

"Because she doesn't matter." Wade said.

"She doesn't matter?" Lucky asked, "She called you a heartless, abusive, bastard!"

Wade rolled her eyes. "We had a lot of arguements and problems while we were together."

"Yeah, but I don't want us to end up like that. We have tons of arguments and fights." Lucky said

"And we won't. We never really fell in love, we just got married."

"It's just, the abusive part, for some reason that sticks in my head." Lucky said, "Did you ever hit her?"

"Abusive? Really Jennifer?" he thought out loud before turning to Lucky. "I would never hit a woman Lucky, you know that. She just really hates my guts."

"I know, it just kind of scared me." Lucky said

"I would never hit you." Wade reassured. "And if I did, I would literally Jill myself."

"ok." Lucky said softly

"Thank you."

Lucky nodded, "I'm still confused about why you didn't tell me."

"She doesn't matter, that's why."

"Don't say she doesn't, what if she tries to ruin our marriage?" Lucky asked

"She isn't going to do that."

"If she really hates you that much, she will. She's going to try to make you the most miserable person on Earth. And she'll probably succeed because she's getting married to Alberto Del Rio." Lucky started to freak out

"There's nothing wrong with Del Rio." Wade said.

"That's not what I mean. If she gets married to him we're going to see a lot more of her."
