"Okay, sure whatever you say. Moving on..." Carol chuckled, pushing her plate away when she saw down. "Dinner was delicious."

"I'm so glad you enjoyed it." Elle said, getting up to grab Carol's plate.

"I agree, amazing as always sweetie." John said with a smile.

"Thank you." Elle smiled, grabbing John's plate as well before dropping them in the sink. "I baked a cake if you'd like some."

"Wow, she's definitely the whole package." Carol said to John quietly.

"She is, that's why I love her." John whispered.

He then turned to Elle.

"We would both love some." John said.

Elle nodded and grabbed some plates, along with a knife to cut the cake and some forks.

Elle walked back over and set the plates down on the table, continuing the dinner.

Elle punched John in the arm.

"I can't even believe you! I panic for all that time for nothing, thinking she didn't like me for awhile and in reality, Carol liked me right away." Elle said.
