Back In The Day (John)

"I've had my doubts about that over the years." Elle said.

John sighed.

"I know but me always coming back to you says something right?" John asked.

"Yeah..it does." Elle nodded.

"I really do love you Elle. No one can change that." John said.

"I know you do, I don't doubt that anymore." Elle said.

"Good, I'm glad you can trust me now." John said with a smile.

"You've put up with a lot of me, the least I can do is trust you." Elle said.

"Even after all that I've done to hurt you?" John asked.

"There was a whole hell of a lot." John said.

Elle nodded. "I know there's been, but you're not that guy anymore."

John smiled then hugged Elle.

"Thank you for trusting me so much and for making me a better person." John said.

"I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think you were worth it." Elle said.

"You're worth it too, if you ever did the same to me I'd stay with you." John said.

"I appreciate it, but I have no intention of doing so." Elle asid.

"Thank goodness for that." John said with a smile.

"I've been through, wouldn't want to do it to you." Elle said.

"You really are the sweetest woman in the world." John said.

"I try." Elle grinned.

"You must try really hard then because I haven't met anyone as sweet as you." John said with a smile.

"I don't try that hard, it's just who I am." Elle said.

"Our kids are lucky to have you as a mother, I couldn't have asked for anyone better to be the mother of my children." John said.

Elle blushed. "Okay, stop with all the compliments now."

John smiled widely when he saw Elle blush.

"Not when you're going to blush after I compliment you enough." John said.

Elle shook her head and turned around so that John couldn't see her face.

"Elle look at me, you know I find it really cute when you blush." John said.

"Nope..." Elle said, continuing to stay turned around.
