Wondering What If

John parked his car in front of Elle's house a few minutes later and got out. Elle told him to come over and since he hadn't spent much time with her recently he was more than happy to come over right now since he was free. When he got to the door he rang the doorbell then waited.

Courtney heard the knock and stood up from the bed she was watching tv on then went to the door. She opened the door and smiled when she saw Randy.

"Hey, get in here I'm starving." Courtney said with a chuckle before she moved aside so Randy could come in.

Elle heard the door and she went over to it. She paused, letting out a deep breath.

"Okay Elle, you can do this." She said before she opened the door. "Hey handsome." She smirked, leaning against the doorway.

"I figured you were." Randy said, walking into the room and setting the bags of food on the table.

John's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when he saw Elle. He looked at her up and down very slowly.

"Dear god." John muttered.

Courtney chuckled then sat down on the table and opened one of the boxes. She grabbed the burger and took a big bite of it.

"Mmm, so good." Courtney muttered as she rubbed her stomach.

She then put the burger down and smiled up at Randy.

"Oh...I have something to tell you." Courtney said.

"Are you just going to stand there and stare or are you going to come inside?" Elle asked, pushing off the doorway she was leaning against, before she walked into the house, making sure her hips were swaying with each step she took.

Randy chuckled at Courtney's reaction to the food and ate a fry. "What do you need to tell me?"

"Um..um." That was all John said as he followed Elle inside and watched her every movement. He was truly speechless.

Courtney stood up then took the sonogram out of her purse then handed it to Randy.

"That's our daughter." Courtney said.

Elle smirked at John's reaction. She grabbed the can of whipped cream and put some on her finger before she slowly liked if off. "What's the matter John?" She asked.

Randy wiped his hands off before he took the picture from Courtney. His eyes widened when he saw the image. "Wait...you said daughter?" He asked, looking at Courtney and not able to hide the smile on his face.

John gulped as he looked at Elle. He was really turned on right now, more than ever and knew if Elle kept teasing him he was going to end up having sex with her right here right now.

Courtney nodded as her smile widened.

"Yep, we're having a daughter...and I think she just started kicking." Courtney whispered as she looked down at her stomach.

"John? You have nothing to...opps..." Elle said, purposely missing as she tried to put whipped cream on her finger, it landing on her chest. "Damn it.." She sighed. "Think you can help me get this off?"

"Um..wow...that's great..." Randy said he was happy, but nervous.

"Definitely." John choked out as he went over to Elle and unhooked her bra before he took it off.

He then bent his head down and licked her chest.

Courtney chuckled then took Randy's hand and placed it gently on her stomach.

"Feel that?" Courtney asked.

Elle moaned softly when she felt John's tongue on her chest. "Mmm..thanks you..."

"Yeah..." Randy said, looking down at his hand.

"You're welcome." John muttered before he kissed her chest then licked it again.

"It's pretty amazing, those were her first kicks." Courtney said with a smile.

Elle moaned softly and closed her eyes in pleasure. She smiled a bit and then pulled away from him. "You know why I'm doing this, right?"

"I agree, it is really amazing." Randy said.

"You want to have sex?" John asked.

Courtney nodded then rubbed her belly before she sat back down and took a sip of her shake.

"I ran into Elle at the mall today." Courtney said.

Elle rolled her eyes. "Besides that. There's more to me just wanting to have sex with you that I planned all of this." Elle said before she sighed. "I...want to be with you, I'm ready to take the next big step."

"Oh...I'm going to guess it went bad, so I apologize on her behalf. She's taking her anger out on you cause she can't take it out on me." Randy said.

"Sorry...this is all really sweet of you. I can tell you really went out of your way and I appriciate that. I want to take the next step with you too." John said before he smiled.

Courtney shook her head as she took a fry and dipped it in her shake.

"You don't need to. It actually wasn't bad at all. Sure there were some well deserved comments but she let me share my side of the whole thing and we went shopping together." Courtney said then ate her fry.

"Well, I'm glad." Elle said, smiling widely as she reached up to kiss John gently. "I've really fallen for you. Don't think I can thank you enough for being there for the last few months..well actually...I do know one way..." She smirked.

Randy nodded. "That's good. Glad she's getting along with somebody. She's barely said a word to me, can't blame her." he shrugged.

John smirked then chuckled softly.

"You know you don't really have to thank me, I was happy to be there for you. You may have sex with me though because you're in love with me." John said.

"I'm sure she'll talk to you soon, it just takes time." Courtney said reassuringly.

"I'm in love with you, huh?" Elle asked with a small smile. "Where did you get that idea from?"

Randy shook his head. "I've treated Elle pretty badly for years. I don't regret what happened between you and I...just how it went down. Elle's been so good to me since we were kids, she didn't deserve to get hurt like that. I fucked up and probably lost my best friend in the process."

"You said you've fallin for me so I figured you were in love...I know I am." John admitted.

Courtney got up and hugged Randy.

"Everything will work out, I promise. You both grew up together. I'm sure one day she'll miss you and want to be friends with you." Courtney said.

Elle looked up at John, somewhat surprised. "You're...in love with me..?" She asked.

Randy smiled and kissed her temple gently. "Thanks, glad you have some faith in the situation."

"I've been in love with you for a long time." John said.

Courtney smiled and blushed a little.

"You're welcome, I just want you to be happy." Courtney said.

"You have? For how long? Why didn't you say anything?" Elle asked, the look of shock now completely all over her face. She had no idea John had felt this way about her.

"Well I actually am really happy." Randy said.

"A couple years maybe longer. You were with Randy and he's my best friend, I couldn't steal his wife away from him." John said.

"Okay then I just don't want you to lose someone that obviously means a lot to you." Courtney said.

Elle didn't know what to say, she just grabbed John's face and pulled him into a deep, passionate kiss.

"Well...you mean a lot to me as well." Randy said.

John smiled as he wrapped his arms around Elle and kissed her back.

Courtney smiled as she pecked Randy on the cheek.

"You mean a lot to me too." Courtney said before she sat back down and finished her burger.
