John's Birthday

"It's all thanks to you, you made this day as great as it is." John said with a smile.

"It really was the least I could do." Elle said.

"Well thank you for everything." John said.

"Anything for you." Elle said, kissing John softly. They got to the car and she unlocked the doors before she got in on the driver's side.

John smiled before he got in the car after Elle and buckled up.

Elle started the car and began to drive towards a bakery.

John leaned back in his seat and looked out the window.

Elle got to the bakery twenty minutes later and parked the car.

John unbuckled his seat belt then got out of the car and waited for Elle.

Elle walked over to John and grabbed his hand, leading him into the bakery.

John walked with Elle up to the bakery then opened the door for her so she could enter before him.

"Thanks." Elle said, walking inside. "Um...so what do you want?" Elle asked as she looked at the cakes that were on display and were already made.

"Chocolate. I don't care what it looks like, as long as it's chocolate." John said.

Elle chuckled, she talked to the person behind the counter and picked a chocolate on chocolate cake. It was wrapped and put into a box. She went to the register to pay for the cake and she grabbed the box afterwards.

"Thank you baby." John said with a smile as he stared at the cake.

"Welcome." Elle said, walking out of the bakery and to the car.

John followed Elle out of the bakery then walked to the car and got into the driver's seat.

Elle got in on the passenger's side. She put her seatbelt on and set the box on her lap.

John pulled out of the parking spot then started driving home.

Elle settled into her seat and looked out of the window.

John got home fifteen minutes later then parked the car in the driveway and got out.

Elle got out of the car and walked to the house. She took her keys out of her purse to open the door. She walked inside and went into the kitchen, setting the cake on the counter. Elle grabbed a plate and a knife, and went back to the box. She opened the box and cut a slice of cake, setting it on the plate. Grabbing a fork, she set it on the table.

"I'll be back in a bit. I need to go do something real quick." Elle said before she headed upstairs.

"Okay." John said as he sat down at the table and started eating his cake.

Elle went upstairs and into their bedroom. She went to their closet, pulling out a box from the top. She got dressed in the costume she had bought awhile ago. She actually had this planned out for awhile, but because of all that was going on, John's birthday slipped her mind. She definitely knew this would make up for it and be the best way to top of John's day.

She came downstairs in a cop outfit. "Is there a Mr. Cena here?"

John looked in the direction he heard Elle's voice then dropped his fork in shock.

"Uh...wow...right here." John muttered.
