John's Birthday

"I completely agree!" Cassie exclaimed.

"I knew I liked you for a reason." John said with a chuckle.

"Cause I have a good appetite?" Cassie asked.

"That and because you like the same food I do." John said.

"I think you and I have a lot in common, John." Cassie said.

"I think so too, that's why you're a great assistant." John said.

"Thank you." Cassie smiled.

"You're very welcome." John said, smiling back.

He got to Outback Steakhouse ten minutes later then parked.

Cassie got out of the car and started to walk to the restaurant.

John got out of the car and walked into the restaurant then got them a table.

Cassie followed the hostess and took a seat at the table. She picked up the menu, looking through it. "You want to share an appetizer?"

"Sure, you can pick what we have." John said.

"How about the Bloomin' Onion?" Cassie asked.

"Sounds great, I love that." John said.

"So do I." Cassie said. "We can add to the list of things we have in common."

"That's got to be a very long list." John said.

"Which is great, I a certainly am not complaining." Cassie said.

"Me neither." John said with a smile when the waiter came over.

He ordered himself a diet coke.

"I'll have an iced tea, please." Cassie said. "And we'll have the Bloomin' Onion as an appetizer." The waited nodded writing everything down before leaving.

"So...what's your favorite color?" John asked.

"Blue, I love the color blue. Your shirt that used to have was my favorite because of that, I wore to bed like..every night." Cassie said.

John chuckled.

"Blue's my favorite color too." John said.

"Seriously? Oh my goodness, this is so amazing I can't even believe it." Cassie giggled.

John laughed.

"You ask a question now and see what else we have in common." John said.

"Ummm...favorite food?" Cassie asked.
