She's Back

"Anthony hurry up downstairs for breakfast!" Elle yelled from the kitchen. It always seemed to be a mad rush to get everyone ready in the morning. But what else was new, the Cena household was always chaotic. But things had gotten a lot worse since they fired Cassie, they definitely needed the extra help but after the stunt Cassie pulled with John, she was weary to bring anyone else around.

Elle looked over at the twins who just came downstairs dressed and she set a plate of food of in front of them with toast, eggs, and bacon on it. She figured John was coming downstairs soon enough and set a plate down for him as well. She walked over to the coffee maker and poured herself and John a cup before she sat down at the table.

John stepped out of the shower and brushed his teeth before he got dressed. He then exited the bedroom and heard Elle yelling up the stairs for Anthony. John looked around and didn't see Anthony in the hallway so he went over to his room then knocked on the door.

"Anthony you heard your mother, hurry up." John said before he went down the stairs.

He walked into the kitchen then kissed Elle on the cheek.

"Good morning sweetheart." John said before he walked over to the table and sat down.

"Coming..gesh.." Anthony muttered, putting his jacket on. He grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs.

"Morning, honey." Elle smiled.

Anthony set his bag down and took a seat at the table.

"Everything smells great." John said as he started putting food on his plate.

"You always say that." Elle said.

"Cause it's true." Cameron said.

"Yeah it's true. It's like you want me to try to find something wrong with what you make." John said.

"No, that's not what I'm wanting." Elle chuckled.

"Then just be grateful I like it." John said, chuckling back as he started eating.

"Fine...fine.." Elle said.

"Uh..where's Cassie? She made the best cinnamon rolls ever for breakfast." Anthony said.

"Uh...she's not going to making cinnamon rolls here anymore." John said.

"Why not?" Anthony asked.

"She had to go away." Elle answered.

"Where?" Anthony asked again

"...she got another job..as a singer, it was last minute, she had to leave." Elle said.

"But why didn't she leave me? I thought she liked us?"

"She does...being a singer was just her dream. Haven't I always told you guys you need to follow your dreams?" John asked.

"Yeah...but she liked us. Why would she choose that over us." Anthony said.

"She couldn't turn down the opportunity." Elle said.

"You could've tried. You shouldn't have let her leave like that."

"It would have been wrong of us to force her to stay Anthony." John said.

"No, it wouldn't have." Anthony said.

"There was nothing we could've done." Elle said.

"Try harder!" Anthony said.

"Anthony she's gone and won't be coming back, end of discussion." John said sternly.

"That's not fair! Get her to come back." Anthony said.

"We can't, you heard your dad." Elle said.

"Sorry Anthony, now eat your breakfast so we can take you to school." John said.

"Not hungry." Anthony muttered, pushing his plate away.

"Anthony eat, don't make me have to tell you again." John said.

"I told you, I wasn't hungry." Anthony said.

"Anthony your mom took the time to make breakfast for you now eat it." John said.

"I said, I wasn't hungry. So, can we go?" Anthony asked.

"Not until you eat something. Your a Cena I refuse to believe you're not hungry." John said.

"Well I'm not." Anthony shrugged.
