Daddy's Home. (Randy)

Allie drove home from school with the brightest smile on her face. Nothing could bring her down, not even her AP Spanish exam next week or that creeper sophomore that kept following her around before 4th period. And its all for one reason, two words: Daddy's home.

Ah, Allie would get super excited whenever Randy came back home from the road. It was always great to have him around, and with her recent 'problems' that's been going on, she could just forget that once sge started joking around with Randy. Allie pulled into the driveway and parked her car. Allie squealed a little as she got out of her car and ran into the house.

"I'm home!" Allie yelled as she closed and locked the door behind her before setting her keys on a table.

Randy had been home for the weekend, it's one of those rare occasions that he always enjoyed. He had crept into the house early this morning when everyone had been asleep and by the time he had gotten up, the kids were out of the house. He definitely missed seeing everyone and he knew it wasn't easy having both him and Courtney both not home at the same time.

He sat back in the living room, watching a movie, taking the time to not only enjoy the peace in the house but to relax as well. Randy heard the door open and the too familiar yell, knowing who it was immediately. "Hey, Allie."Randy smiled, getting off of the catch and walking over to her, pulling her into a big. "How you doing, sweetheart?"

Allie grinned as she hugged him back tightly, "I'm doing great, how about you?"

Well it wasn't completely false.

"Tired, the usual." Randy said, leading her over to the living room so that they can sit. "I'm behind on everything, fill me in on what I've missed."

Allie stared at him, she sighed a little. "Um..academics are great. I've been singing and songwriting a lot lately with the help of Courtney. Also typical love issues. But not much has been going on."

"Good to hear you're doing well in school. I'm glad Court's helping you out. Love issues? Do you...er..want to walk about it?" Randy asked.

"I think I've done enough talking...and crying," she mumbled at the end, "I'm not really going anywhere with my progress so I'm just trying to ignore those problems."

Randy nodded, not entirely too sure what he should do or say since he knew little on the situation. "Alright, we don't have to talk about it. But...I'm sorry to hear that, sweetie."

Allie shrugged, "It's cool, I'm a pretty strong girl. I'm an Orton, I can handle these types of things." She said with a wide smile.

"I never said you couldn't, but it doesn't mean you have to put up a front about it either. If you're hurting or were hurt, it's okay." Randy said.

Allie nodded, "I am hurting but I'm cool. Just need to get over it."

"If you're hurting that's not good." Randy said.

"I know it isn't good, but I'm fine."

"Okay...well, if you're sure." Randy said, deciding to leave it alone.

"Thanks..its just I've been really emotional and I really want to tell you but you'll get mad."
