Cena Family Dinner

"Awesome." Anthony said.

"I'd really appreciate that Carol." Elle said.

John smiled before he threw the ball back.

Carol smiled.

"I'm always happy to help." Carol said.

"When do you get off work again?" Anthony asked.

"I know, I'm lucky to have you guys around." Elle said.

"A week." John said.

"And we're lucky to have you. You're such a sweet woman and I'm happy you're in my son's life." Carol said.

"Can we go somewhere else?" Anthony asked.

"Thanks. I'm lucky to have him and all you in my life as well. I'm glad you guys accepted me into your family." Elle said.

"Sure." John said.

"How could we not? We'd be idiots not to." Carol said.

John Sr. looked at Savannah.

"What should we do while we wait for dinner?" John Sr. asked.

"Where?" Anthony asked.

"No, you wouldn't." Elle chuckled.

"Ummm...I don't know.." Savannah said and then frowned.

"You pick." John said.

"Yes we would be." Carol said with a chuckle.

"You're a great girl." Carol said.

"We could watch tv." John Sr. said.

"The North Pole." Anthony said.

"Thanks Carol, that means a lot." Elle said.

"Kay." Savannah said.

"We can't go to the North Pole." John said.

"You're welcome." Carol said with a smile before she pulled the chicken out of the oven.

John Sr. nodded then handed Savannah the remote.

"Why?" Anthony asked.

Elle set the bowl of potatoes down on the table.

Savannah flipped through the channels.

"It's way too cold." John said.

"What are your favorite shows?" John Sr. asked.

"But Santa is there." Anthony said.

"Uh, Spongebob and Hannah Montana." Savannah said.

"It's August, Santa is on vacation." John said.

"Hannah Montana is that singer right and SpongeBob is the talking sponge?" John Sr. asked.

"Ohh..." Anthony said, frowning.

"Yeah, Grandpa." Savannah giggled.

"But you'll get to see him on Christmas." John said.

"It's nice to be caught up." John Sr. said with a grin.

"That's so far." Anthony said.

"You don't watch them?" Savannah asked.

"I know but it'll be worth it when you see him." John said.

"Nope." John Sr. said.

"Well then I don't know where we can go." Anthony said.

Savannah nods and starts singing the theme song.

"Um...New York?" John asked.

John Sr. chuckled as he started singing along with Savannah.

Carol smiled hearing them as she set the table.

"What's there?" Anthony asked.

Savannah giggled as she continued to sing along.

"I swear she knows most theme songs by heart and the one's she doesn't, she'll act like she does." Elle said.

"The Statue of Liberty." John said.

"She's got a pretty voice." Carol said with a smile.

"What's that?" Anthony asked.

"I know, for a two year old, it's kind of surprising." Elle said.

Savannah finished singing the song and started to watch the show

"A statue that symbolizes of freedom and democracy." John said.

"If she ever wanted to I can see her making it big." Carol said.

"You have a very nice voice." John Sr. said.

"Huh?" Anthony asked.

"You really think so?" Elle asked.

"Tanks." Savannah said.
