Not What We Were Expecting (Courtney and Elle)

Elle groans, starting to shake the phone.

"Damn you phone! Get service." She says, walking around the elevator before opeing up the emergency phone that was in the elevartor.

Courtney rubbed her stomach when the contraction ended then started the timer.

"I think I totally jinxed it when I kept saying nothing was going to happen." Courtney said.

"I can't believe this is happening right now." Elle says, before talking on the phone.

"Hello? Yeah...I'm stuck on an elevator with my friend and she's going into labor...no,her water ust broke but I don't know how long she's going to last..uh huh, well can you please hurry up and try t fix this..okay, thank you." Elle says, hanging up the phone.

"You couldn't get a hold of Randy?" Courtney asked.

"There's no service in this stupid elevator." Elle replies, walking around with the phone in the air.

"Oh great." Courtney groaned as she rested her head against the wall.

"I know, but relax. I'll reach him." Elle says.

Courtney nodded then felt another contraction and squeezed the purse as she took deep breaths.

"How much time was that?" Elle asks, going to Courtney's side.

"Twenty minutes." Courtney muttered.

"That's good, we still got some time before the baby comes." Elle says.

Courtney nodded as she rubbed her stomach and took deep breaths.

"Yes!" Elle exclaims, quickly dialing a number. "Orton?!"

"Elle? Why are you calling me from Courtney's phone?" Randy asks.

"Cause your wife is currently going into labor." Elle replies.

"What?!"

"Just shut up before I lose service. Call an ambulance and make sure they are out here whenever we get out of here." Elle says.

"When will that be?" Randy asks.

"If I knew that, do you honestly think I'd be on the phone with you right now." Elle reples.

"...."

"That's what I thought, now hurry up and get your ass down here. Call me when you do." Elle says.

"I'm guessing you finally got to call Randy." Courtney said.

"Yeah...your husband is a moron." Elle says.

"What did he do this time?" Courtney asked.

"Kept asking stupid questions." Elle replies.

"He probably was in shock. I am in labor and stuck in an elevator." Courtney said.

"You can go with that theory...I still say he's a moron." Elle says

Courtney chuckled softly before she screamed when she felt another contraction.

"Breathe Courtney." Elle says.

Courtney moaned before she started taking deep breaths.

Elle moves some of the hair out of Courtney's face.

"When I get out of here I want a damn epidural." Courtney said before she continued breathing.

"Yeah it may be...sure Court you can have one." Elle says, deciding not to finish the previous sentence.
