A Small Distraction (Anyone)

Courtney moaned then looked at Rai.

"She's right. You don't get stress from not doing anything." Courtney said.

"I do too!" Rai said with a sigh. "I barely do anything at work and I'm going crazy."

"Alright." Courtney said then looked at Elle.

"So let me see more of your amazing sketches." Courtney said.

"You may go insane but it's for the babies." Elle said, going to the other side and opening one of the drawers.

"Here you go Court." Elle said, handing her the sketch pad.

Courtney looked through the sketches.

"These are amazing." Courtney said.

"Stupid Jeff for making me have three." Rai said as she grabbed a cookie. "Eat your yummy food Elle."

"Thanks Court." Elle said, sitting down in her chair and leaning back. "Rai, you could have some if you want."

"I'm happy with the cookie."

"You're welcome and you won't believe who asked me to have you design her a dress." Courtney said with a wide smile.

"Take some more if you want Rai, I won't mind." Elle said.

"Who?" Elle asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Actually three people. Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, and Madonna want to wear yours dresses. They want you to design and make dresses for them." Courtney said with a smile.

Rai grabbed a few more. "Yummy."

Elle dropped the pen she had in her hand in shock.

"Are you kidding with me Court? They want me to do designs for them?" Elle asked.

"I'm so freaking serious. I'll call them now to prove it to you if I have to." Courtney said.

"Oh goodness...I think I'm going to pass out." Elle said.

"Don't take deep breaths." Courtney said with a chuckle.

"Whoo sah." Rai said with a smile.

Courtney looked at Rai.

"What the hell are you saying?" Courtney asked.

"How can I breathe? Three of the biggest artists in the world want me to design a dress for them. Do you realize what this could do to my career?" Elle said.

"It could do soooo much. I'm so proud of you. You should make your special amazing brownies to celebrate." Courtney said.

"Congrats on it Elle."

"No, I should make you my brownies. You're the one that got me the connection." Elle said.

"Thanks Rai." Elle said.

"God...John is going to freak when he finds out." Elle said.

"Alright I won't argue and also you and John both get special passes to the Grammy's as well. You get to be on the red carpet, backstage, everything." Courtney said with a smile.

"Court you really didn't have to do all of that." Elle said.

"I wanted to and so did your clients. The four of us thought you deserved the two invites." Courtney said.
