A Small Distraction (Anyone)

Elle got up and hugged Courtney.

"Thank you so much." Elle said.

"You're so welcome Elle. You really deserve this." Courtney said.

"You're the most amazing best friend ever." Elle said.

"So are you." Courtney said as she hugged Elle back.

Elle smiled widely.

"I'm so excited." Elle said.

"Me too. It's going to be so much fun having you there." Courtney said.

Rai got up and smiled. "I better get home before Jeff wakes up. Congrats Elle and I'll see you guys later."

"Bye." Courtney said.

She looked back at Elle then smiled.

"What do you think you'll wear?" Courtney asked.

"Okay, bye Rai. Good luck with Jeff." Elle said.

"I know and the best part is I'll be there with you." Elle said before she thought for a moment. "I have no idea what I'll wear."

"You think you're going to sketch something?" Courtney asked as she grabbed a cookie and took a bite.

She put her hand over her mouth.

"Crap. I forgot I throw up when I eat cookies." Courtney muttered before she ran into the bathroom.

Elle groaned as she waited for Courtney.

Courtney came out a couple minutes later.

"Get those devil things out of here." Courtney muttered.

Elle chuckled as she sat back down.

"What were we talking about?" Courtney asked.

"Me designing my own dress." Elle replied. "And I'm not sure."

"Oh you should design it." Courtney said.

"I'm not sure if I even have enough time to do it." Elle said.

"You could buy a really nice one then. I know a bunch of people." Courtney said.

"I'll figure it out. As long as your set for the night, I'm good." Elle said.

"I want you set for the night." Courtney said.

"I'll get there." Elle said.

Courtney nodded.

"So, don't worry, I'll be fine." Elle said.

"Okay fine." Courtney said.
