Catching Up With Family (Randy/Courtney)

"I'll help you Grandma." Kayla said as she slid off her chair.

"Me too." Jake said.

Courtney came back down the stairs a couple minutes later after lying Max down in his crib.

"No, you two go play. I can handle this." Elaine said.

"Yeah, I'll help Grandma." Courtney said to Kayla and Jake with a smile.

"Okay." Kayla said before her and Jake ran into the living room.

"You ladies got it?" Bob asked.

"Yeah, we do. Go in the living room with Randy." Elaine said.

"Yeah, go watch sports or play the Wii." Courtney said with a chuckle as she grabbed the last couple of dishes from the table and put them in the dishwasher.

"Don't have to tell me twice." Randy chuckled, getting up and walking with Bob into the living room.

Elaine picked up some more plates and brought them to the sink.

Kayla sat on the couch with Jake.

"You can just put the dishes in the dishwasher, it'll save the trouble of washing them by hand." Courtney said.

"Okay." Elaine said, clearing the plates before putting them into the dishwasher.

Bob sat down in a chair and turned on the t.v.

Courtney put the cups in the dishwasher.

Kayla got off the couch then went into the kitchen.

Elaine put the plates in the dishwasher.

"Need something sweetie?" Elaine asked.

"No. I just don't want to watch football." Kayla said.

"That's understandable." Elaine chuckled as she put more dishes inside.

"Can we make a pie?" Kayla asked.

"That's up to you mom." Elaine said.

"It's no problem with me." Courtney said.

"Yay!" Kayla yelled.

"Okay. What kind of pie do you want to make?" Elaine asked.

"Um...blueberry." Kayla said.

"Okay." Elaine said.

"Do you have all the ingredients, Court?" She asked.

"I believe so." Courtney said as she started going through the fridge and pantry.

Elaine nodded as she waited for Courtney to get everything.

Courtney got all the ingredients then put them on the counter.

Elaine looked around the kitchen before grabbing a couple bowls.

"Grandma your pies are the best." Kayla said.

"Aw, thank you honey." Elaine said, mixing the ingredients together.

"You're welcome." Kayla said as she stood on a chair and watched.
