Nine Months, Twice Over (John)

"Nothing, forget it..I'll be fine." Elle said.

"No, just tell me. I hate it when you're mad at me." John said.

"Not mad, irritated." Elle said.

"What can I do to make you less irritated?" John asked.

"Nothing that is possible." Elle said.

"There has to be something." John said.

"No, I'm fine." Elle said.

"You sure?" John asked.

"Mhm..." Elle said, though it probably didn't sound believable.

"Elle...I know when you're lying." John said.

"It doesn't matter." Elle said.

"Yes it does, tell me." John said.

Elle looked down and wiped her eyes. "I am just tired...my feet hurt...I feel huge." She paused to sniffle as she let out a sigh. "Then I see all of these mom's with their husbands going shopping, or at doctor's appointments, or at lamaze classes and I'm just...alone."

(I want to curse John and Kat's timing! I was looking online and I realized that John was at the Teen Choice Awards, so was Kat. But noooo John couldn't go on the red carpet to take pictures. Damn him.)

John now felt even more guilty then before. He sighed then ran a hand through his hair.

"I'm really sorry Elle, I'm trying to be here when I can. I really am but it's up to Vince when I get days off." John said.

(Are you serious?! *slaps John* asshole! I would have LOVED to blend those two together with pics of them at the same event or even to see a pic of them together. Freaking jerk ruined it. But hey at least now we have two for two with our pairings being at events together )

She shrugged again as she wiped her eyes. "That's why it doesn't matter, forget I said anything."

(I know! Ugh! Well, I am still keeping my fingers crossed that they end up an event together, it has to happen, it just has to. lol. I'm hoping for TCA's or KCA's this year, they both have to attend one of those. But yeah, at least we're two for four, not too bad.)

"I can't when I feel guilty about it." John said.

(It will. One day it will and they will both be on the red carpet. I'm freaking sure of it. lol John usually goes to the KCAs so hopefully it'll happen there. Nope, not bad at all since most OC/superstar pairings never are at events together)

"You have no control over it, so it doesn't matter." Elle said.

(Yeah, he's always there. And with the Vampire Diaries becoming really popular and Kat getting notoriety on her own, the chances got upped. So, if TVD gets a nom for the KCA's, she may be there, but my best bet is the TCA's..John needs to go again and damn it, go on the red carpet! lol. True, they usually never go to the same events, but I sometimes forget that John is pretty well known outside the WWE.)

"I'm sorry Elle, I really am." John said.

(He does! We should tell him to do so on twitter, the moron going to an award show and not going on the red carpet. lol I do too but he really is well known outside the WWE now that I think of it with Make A Wish and his movies)

"Nothing to be sorry for." Elle said.

(Seriously, who does that?! lol. I don't know if it was pre-taped or if he came late to the show and missed it. But I am highly upset he wasn't on the red carpet. I don't know how I forget that, but yeah, he's pretty well known, so this shouldn't surprise me.)

"Me not being here with you during all of this is something to be sorry about." John said.

(I have no idea, he was probably late if anything. I am too, next time he needs to get dressed quickly and get his ass in the car and onto the damn red carpet. lol Me neither)

"You don't have any control over it, like you said." Elle said.

(Yeah, probably. I heard he had to be at a show the same night, so I guess that's why.)

John shook his head and walked away. He wasn't frusterated with Elle, he was more frusterated with the situation. He wanted to be with her during her pregnancy more than anything but work wasn't allowing him to do so and he hated it.

It was probably the hormones that had her acting the way she did. Elle was always a lot more reasonable than this, she understood that John's work had him away. Deep down she knew that if he could be there he would, once things settled and she calmed down and thought about everything, she'd apologize for how she acted. But for now, she couldn't really tell you how she felt with the range of emotions she's feeling.

John walked outside and made sure not to slam the door as he did then sat down on the porch to think.

A few hours later

Elle had given John his space for a few hours. She kept herself busy cleaning around the house, despite her feet killing her and her being completely uncomfortable.

She groaned and took a seat on the couch, rubbing her stomach. She wasn't in pain but felt pretty damn uncomfortable right now her. "Oh...shit..." She muttered through clenched teeth as the pain seemed to get a bit stronger.
