First Day On The Job (John)

Cassie walked into the arena where RAW was being at that night. She had gotten word from the company that she was had gotten the job to work with John and she was thrilled. She slung her bag over her shoulder and paid for the taxi as she walked into the beginning. Looking around, she was pointed to the right direction where John's locker room was.

She adjusted her outfit and knocked on the door.

John put his hat on his head then heard a knock on the door and walked over to it. When he opened it and saw a woman he smiled. He figured it was his new assistant so he stepped aside to allow her to walk in.

"You're the new assistant right?" John asked.

She couldn't help but light up once she saw John, she nodded bashfully not realizing that she hadn't spoke.

"Oh..uh..yeah.." Cassie giggled nervously as she walked into the locker room. "I'm Cassie, you're assistant."

John closed the door then turned around and held his hand out to shake.

"It's nice to meet you Cassie." John said.

"It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Cena." Cassie said, her smile widening as she reached out and shook his hand. "I am a big fan."

"Call me John and cool. It's always nice to meet fans." John said with a smile.

"Well, trust me, I won't let it get in the way of my job." Cassie said.

"I know you won't, I trust you." John said.

"You trust me, already?" Cassie asked.

"Well I kind of have to." John said with a chuckle.

"If I thought you would stab me in the back that wouldn't be the greatest thing in the world." John said.

"I'd never do that, I need the job." Cassie said. "Plus you seem like a great guy, I wouldn't want to do that to you."

"That's nice to know. You sound like a good person." John said.

"Well, I hope to show it to you as well." Cassie said with a smile. "You need me to do anything?"

"Uh not right now but my family should be here soon. I need to introduce them to you. You can hang around tonight, make yourself comfy." John said.

"Your family? They come around a lot?" Cassie asked.

"My wife tries to bring them around whenever she can. She's pretty busy." John said.

"What does your wife do? I mean, it has to suck that she's always away and you're gone as well." Cassie said.

"She's a fashion designer and it does suck. I miss my wife and kids a lot when I'm not with them." John said.

"How come she doesn't stay home?" Cassie asked curiously. "..oh, it's none of my business, sorry."

"She doesn't have to. Just because you become a mother doesn't mean you have to stay home." John said.

"I understand that, but I mean...well, this is just my opinion, you're gone all the time, it has to be hard on the kids." Cassie said.

John sighed as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Yeah, it is." John said.

"I'm so, so, so sorry. I shouldn't have said anything, it wasn't my place too." Cassie said.

"No you're right...I didn't think about that until you said it." John said.

"Well, maybe I can help out. I can do whatever you need me to." Cassie said.
