John nodded then grabbed some clothes from his bag and went into the bathroom.

As John went into the bathroom, his phone went off. She glanced over at it and went over to get a closer look. She saw it was a text from John asking if she wanted them to come backstage and if not, she'd take the kids and head back to the hotel. She debated on whether she should reply, she shook her head, deciding against it and simply deleted the message, figuring that it could always be blamed on having bad cell service and that's why it went unanswered.

She knew John would go with Elle and the kids, and she was having such a good time with him that she did not want her to get in the way of that. She put the phone back where it was and took a seat as she waited for John.

John finished his shower ten minutes later then stepped out of the shower. He grabbed his clothes and put them on before stepping out of the bathroom.

"Did I get any calls?" John asked as he grabbed his shoes and put them on.

Cassie looked up when John walked out and smiled. "Nope, no calls at all."

"Uh...I'm not sure. I figured my wife was going to come back here." John said.

"Maybe she got busy? Or the kids were tired?" Cassie said, asking as if she wasn't sure.

John nodded, he thought Elle would have called or texted, something if she just went back to the hotel.

"You sure I didn't get any messages or calls?" John asked.

"Not that I know of, reception sucks in the arenas, I have like no bars." Cassie said.

John looked over then saw his phone and decided to check for himself. There was the proof. No messages at all.

"Well...um...I guess we could go back to the hotel." John said with a slight frown.
