Back In The Day (John)

"That you and I were messing around for a while before we officially got together." John said.

"I'm aware of that, but I'm talking about me getting pregnant so quick." Elle said.

"Oh...my mom just wanted a grandchild. She didn't care when it happened." John said with a chuckle.

"Seriously?! You are now telling me this after I was freaking out!" Elle said.

"You never asked!" John exclaimed.

"That would be something I'd like to know!" Elle said.

"How was I supposed to know?" John asked.

"I was your pregnant girlfriend, it would've been nice to know!" Elle said.

"Like I said you never asked about their reaction." John said.

Elle shot John a glare.

Flahsback

Elle was terrified. That would be the only word to describe how she was feeling. She was about five months pregnant and she was just now meeting John's parents. It definitely wasn't the ideal situation, they hadn't been together that long and all of a sudden she was pregnant. She did not want them to think she was out for his money or slut or something.

Tonight had to be perfect, she wanted to make the best impression she could. She heard only his mom was coming down to see them, which made her more nervous.

Elle ran around the kitchen of their house in a pink dress, finishing up dinner.

John was dressed in dark jeans and a black dressy shirt as he made it down the stairs. He smiled when he walked into the kitchen.

"Everything smells great in here babe, you need any help?" John asked.

"No...I got it..." Elle said, checking on the roast in the oven.

"You sure? I don't mind helping you out." John said.

"No, I need to keep myself busy." Elle replied.

"But I don't want you overworking yourself." John said.

"If I don't stay busy, I'll have a panic attack from worrying so much." Elle said.

"Just calm down, my mom isn't going to kill you or bite your head off." Jhn said.

"I'm your girlfriend, we're not married, and I'm pregnant. She's going to hate me." Elle said.

"Elle trust me you have nothing to worry about." John said.

"Look at my stomach, this is a problem." Elle said.

"Would you trust me? You're going to be fine." John said.

"John, I'm nervous. I am meeting your mother under the not so greatest circumstances." Elle said.

"I understand that but my mom is really nice." John said.

"You're her son, I know how mother's can be." Elle said.

"And I know my mom will love you." John said.
