John's Birthday

Cassie grinned as her lips moved from John's neck and she kissed him passionately. "I love you." She said against his lips, thinking that sounded like Elle.

John's eyes narrowed when he heard the familiar voice and it wasn't Elle's. He pushed the body off of him then turned on the lap and stood up. When he saw for his own eyes it was Cassie John was beyond furious.

"Get the fuck out of my house you fucking whore!" John roared.

"John..please..." Cassie begged.

"Get out or else I swear to god I will throw you out." John said with so much anger in his voice that right now it wouldn't be wise to argue with him.

Cassie gulped and got out of the bed. She looked at John once more before she left the room, closing the door behind her. This was NOT over, but for now, she was just too hurt to come up with another scheme. She left the house without another word and got into her car, driving away.

John shook his head then turned around and punched a hole through the wall.

The Next Morning

A limo pulled up to the house and Elle got out of it. It had been a busy few days. She had a club appearance and performed that night, the whole thing not ended till early that same morning. She definitely needed to come back to L.A though, the last few weeks had been busy and she definitely wanted to be home.

She thanked the driver and grabbed her bags, before walking into the house. She knew the kids would be at their grandparents for a few more days, so she was glad to have some quiet to rest. Elle decided to leave her bags downstairs and she headed upstairs to the bedroom. She opened the door and froze when she saw John in their bed. "What the hell was he doing home?" It hadn't dawned to her what yesterday was, what the date was today.

"Uh..John...?" She asked, sounding confused.

John slowly opened his eyes when he heard Elle say his name. He had drank himself to sleep the night before. When he saw it was her John shook his head and turned onto his side.

"What do you want?" John asked.

Elle quirked an eyebrow at John and walked to get into the bed beside him. "To know why you're home so early. Why didn't you give me a call?"

"Oh I'm sorry. How selfish I was to not call you on my fucking birthday." John snapped.

"You're what?" Elle asked and then gasped. She took out her phone and then suddenly felt like shit. "Oh my God...your birthday was yesterday. I am so, so sorry John."

"Whatever. Just go do another freaking performance or something while I lie here like an idiot. It's obvious you don't give a damn about me." John said.

"John, I do. It just slipped my mind. I didn't mean to forget it." Elle said.

"I spent that whole week of your birthday making sure it was amazing and you don't do a damn thing for me. All you do is forget." John said.

"John, I can't say sorry enough. I made a mistake, I didn't mean it." Elle said.

John sighed.

"I know...I just had a really shitty day." John said.

"Let me make it up to you, please." Elle said.

"Fine, you can make it up to me. Starting with an aspirin, my head is killing me." John said.

"What happened? Think you'll be okay to do something later?" Elle asked, getting up to go into the bathroom to get an aspirin.

"I had a shitload of beer after Cassie tried to seduce me." John muttered.

"And yeah I'll be fine." John said.

"After Cassie did what?!" Elle asked coming out with the bottle of aspirin.

"She tried to seduce me and even went as far as trying to be you to get me to have sex with her." John said.

Elle looked enraged. "I am going to kill that bitch." She pretty much shoved the pill bottle to John and went to go get her purse. "I can't believe that fuckin' skank! I told you about her! And then that whore is going to try and get with my husband, hell no!"

"Elle...I know you're pissed, I am too hence the hole in the wall, but no yelling or I told you so's. Dealing with an enormous headache right now." John said before he popped the pill in his mouth.

"I'm not even mad at you! I just want to strangle that bitch!" Elle said.
