The Beginning Of Trouble

Randy's lids grew heavy and he eventually fell asleep once he was able to get his mind cleared.

The next morning Courtney woke up and slowly got out of bed. She was still mentally drained due to her bad night so she didn't bother to change or fix her hair as she walked out of the room and went downstairs. Courtney then saw Randy still asleep in the living room and just stared at him.

Randy was fast asleep, probably sleeping more than he normally does. it had been a long night. He didn't even get up to go to the gym like he normally did.

Courtney continued staring at Randy for a bit longer before she felt herself break down a bit. Tears welled up in her eyes. This could be the last time she was able to look at him and call him her husband, he could easily leave her at this point and that tore her apart. Courtney sobbed a bit then walked over to Randy and shook his shoulder to wake him up. She couldn't just stand there and do nothing to help her marriage.

Randy groaned, shifting in the position he was in. He stretched out along the couch and yawned.

"Hm?" He asked groggily before he opened his eyes.

Courtney got down on her knees, she didn't think she would ever get to the point of begging but she didn't know what else to do at this point.

"Randy I'm sorry...just don't leave me. Please don't leave me." Courtney pleaded.

Randy sighed, a bit too tired to be dealing with this. "Not leaving you, just need some time."

"You promise? Because I just...I just can't live without you." Courtney said.

"Yeah, I promise." He said.

Courtney nodded as she started to calm down a bit.

"I'm sorry I woke you up." Courtney said.

"It's fine." Randy said.

Courtney nodded then sniffled as she started to wipe her tears away.

"You okay now?" He asked.

"Yeah. I look desperate I know, I kind of feel desperate." Courtney said.

"Guess it makes sense considering the situation." Randy said.

Courtney nodded and slowly stood back up.

"You really aren't going to leave right? You didn't say that just to calm me down?" Courtney asked.

"No, I didn't say all of that to calm you down." Randy replied.

Courtney nodded, it did make her feel a bit better.

"I'm going to make breakfast, you can go back to sleep if you want." Courtney said.

"Alright, wake me up when it's done." Randy said.

"Okay." Courtney said as she walked into the kitchen to start making breakfast.

Randy laid back down on the couch and closed his eyes.

Courtney finished making breakfast fifteen minutes later and had everything on the table. She walked into the living room with a cup of coffee just the way Randy liked it, thinking it would help wake him up. When she was standing over him she shook his shoulder.

Randy hadn't fallen that much asleep, just simply rested his eyes. He woke up and stretched again before he stood up.

"Everything smells good." He said.

"I'm glad you think so, here's your coffee." Courtney said as she handed the cup to Randy then walked back into the kitchen.

"Thanks." Randy said, taking the coffee cup and taking a sip out of it before going into the kitchen.
