Courtney swallowed hard at Randy's response. Maybe it was too early to ask that question since another fight just happened but she still hoped that she could make it up to him and smooth things over, so things could go back to normal.

"Okay..." Courtney said softly as she looked down at the dish in her hand and went back to washing it.

Courtney sighed as she walked upstairs to her and Randy's room. She lied down on the bed then felt tears fill her eyes as she stared at the empty spot next to her.

Courtney saw her and Randy's wedding picture on the nightstand then grabbed it. She held it to herself tightly as she continued to let tears fall from her eyes.

Randy ran a hand down his face letting out a deep sigh. He turned onto his side and closed his eyes for a moment, trying not to think.

Courtney ran a hand through her hair a few minutes later, finally running out of tears to cry. She felt completely drained and soon enough she ended up falling asleep.
